🚀 Something important is happening in defense space. Last week, Boeing opened a new production line in El Segundo dedicated to EO/IR space payloads. On paper, it’s just a new facility. In reality, it reflects something much bigger. We are witnessing a shift in how space for national security is built. For years, military satellites were treated as unique, complex, almost artisanal systems. Now, the focus is clearly moving toward cadence, scalability, and repeatability. More satellites. Faster production. Stronger resilience. With programs supporting the United States Space Force and spacecraft built by Millennium Space Systems, this is part of a broader transformation: space is becoming an industrial domain. And that changes everything. Because in today’s environment, performance still matters — but production capacity matters just as much. The question is no longer only “Who has the best technology?” It’s also “Who can deliver at scale?” #Space #Defense #SatelliteIndustry #NationalSecurity #IndustrialShift

Advancing space mission capabilities starts on the factory floor. That’s why we recently opened a new production line for our missile sensing payload in El Segundo, California. The expansion supports Millennium Space Systems' delivery of 12 U.S. Space Force Resilient Missile Warning and Tracking (MWT) MEO vehicles in 2027 and strengthens our ability to scale repeatable production as demand grows.
