S4S hosted U.S. Navy Rear Admiral Tracy Hines of U.S. Space Command last Friday where she got an up-close look at the Combined Space Operations Center floor, received a brief on current operations, and engaged with command leaders. As the USSPACECOM Global Space Operations deputy director, Rear Adm. Hines is responsible for executing full-spectrum joint space operations with assigned and allocated space forces. S4S, through its centers, Allies, and partners, commands combat forces in space superiority operations to protect, defend, and deliver global space-enabled effects in USSPACECOM’s area of responsibility. M.W.T. in the C-A-V 👁️🌎 ⚠️ The S4S Command Team traveled to North Dakota earlier this month to visit the space professionals stationed at Cavalier Space Force Station. “Cav” is home to the 10th Space Warning Squadron and their operational arm, the 10th Space Warning Combat Squadron – a missile warning and tracking (MWT) unit that reports to S4S. While there, Lt. Gen. Bythewood and Chief Timmerman hosted a town hall and toured the Perimeter Acquisition Radar Attack Characterization System, the radar used by 10 SWCS to conduct space surveillance and monitor for sea-launched and intercontinental ballistic missiles aimed at North America. Seeing the heat signature before the fire spreads is essential to modern defense. 🔥👁️ Through a unique partnership between the military and the Intelligence Community, our team at the Joint Overhead Persistent-Infrared Center at the Aerospace Defense Facility on Buckley SFB, Colorado, manages overhead persistent infrared capabilities that detect missile launches and other critical events worldwide. Early warning turns data into decision-making power. United States Space Force U.S. Space Command #ProtectDefendDeliverConnect

GPS is more than a daily convenience. In modern conflict, knowing your exact location, how to get to your destination, and when you'll arrive is the difference between mission success or failure. 📍⏱️ The Joint Navigation Warfare Center, located at Kirtland AFB, New Mexico, ensures positioning, navigation, and timing superiority—protecting our forces while denying the same advantage to adversaries. Staying on target and on time starts in space. United States Space Force U.S. Space Command #ProtectDefendDeliverConnect

S4S-CJFSC’s commander, Lt. Gen. Dennis Bythewood, hopped on the Mitchell Institute’s Spacepower Advantage Center of Excellence webinar to talk about the U.S. Space Command “Year of Integration” and how interoperability with partners, Allies, and industry plays a kay role in the command’s Protect, Defend, Deliver and Connect mission. Tasked with forging synchronized, agile and combat-ready space enterprises that leverage all domains and capabilities, S4S-CJFSC has had many successes in integration since being stood up in 2023, including: historic bilateral satellite maneuvers with the UK and France, deconfliction of fires and sensor maintenance across the space domain, and training in realistic exercises alongside partners and Allies with the latest commercial tools. 🔗 Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gvMh5pWr United States Space Force #ProtectDefendDeliverConnect #YearofIntegration

Space superiority is about ensuring freedom of action—for us and our allies. At the National Space Defense Center, located at Schriever SFB, Colorado, our team works alongside partners across the military and intelligence community to detect, deter, and defend against threats in space ranging from anti-satellite missiles to sophisticated counterspace technologies such as laser weapons and GPS and SATCOM jamming. 🛡️🚀🎯 Defending the domain ensures the Joint Force can operate without hesitation. Putting the space band back together 📡 🛰️ S4S’s Combined Space Operations Center hosted 37 organizations across the military, Allied nations and commercial industry at the second annual Electronic Warfare and On-Orbit Working Group earlier this month. They focused on improving shared awareness of ongoing terrestrial and on-orbit efforts, identifying friction points affecting military and commercial capabilities, and strengthening coordination across geographic and functional commands. “The turning points in modern warfare are no longer dictated by a single technology offset, but by a shared understanding across the entire Joint Force,” said Lt. Col. Kelly Martin, CSpOC director for intelligence and conference lead. 🔗 Click this link for the full story: https://lnkd.in/gcVAzAxT United States Space Force U.S. Space Command #ProtectDefendDeliverConnect
