On behalf of the AFCOM Arizona Chapter, we are pleased to announce that we are beginning outreach for potential host organizations for the 2026 AFCOM Arizona Internship Program. For 2026, the program will once again run for 10 weeks, beginning the week after Memorial Day and continuing through early August. This year’s focus will be on developing Low-Voltage (LV) Technicians and COTS/Data Center Technicians, two areas of critical workforce need across our industry. To further strengthen the program and ensure candidates are well prepared before entering host environments, we are partnering with Baltu Technologies. Through their platform, all prospective interns will be evaluated on Attitude, Aptitude, and baseline Knowledge, allowing us to pre-screen participants and provide host organizations with candidates who are ready to learn, demonstrate professionalism, and contribute meaningfully from day one. We recognize that hosting interns represents a significant investment of time and resources, and we are deeply grateful to the organizations willing to support this effort. Participation in this program directly helps develop Arizona’s next generation of technical talent—benefiting not only individual organizations, but the broader data center and low-voltage ecosystem across the state.
