Product Led Growth (PLG) Update from Strike48. In the next two weeks we are hoping to update our freemium solution. Our initial launch was okay but not what it really needs to be. Building agents takes too many steps and the workflows are confusing. In the update we are going to fix those issues and add a number of new capabilities. The result still won't be a finished product, but we are getting dangerously close to something very powerful. I don't want to say exactly what the release will hold but here is a peek at a snippet of an internal email our CTO (Ed Bond - resident genius) sent to me that gives you a good idea directionally where we are going: “Can you contact Legal about setting up a structure for an open source SDK so people retain ownership of their developed software. iOS, Android, and desktop apps that are open source. And a way to publicly commit that we will never claim ownership of what people host on our marketplace — so builders can create and benefit from their own agentic solutions.”

When we talk to prospects about agent hallucination, they usually attribute the problem to some flaw in the LLM(s). In our experience, the issue is almost invariably in the system's memory and/or orchestration. An agent built atop institutional truth tasked with automating a workflow needs lights-out accurate retrieval. If the system has to guess because the search layer failed to derive the right context, well... the entire process breaks, doesn't it? The reality is that while it's not as exciting as generation or automation, meticulous data and content prep is the non-negotiable prerequisite for all agentic AI success. If you skip this step, you don't just get wrong answers, you authorize a system to take the wrong actions with absolute confidence. Ironic! We need to stop blaming LLMs and start looking at the fidelity of the RAG infrastructure we've built around it.

One of the things I enjoy most about this role is getting to work alongside teams running incredibly complex, high-stakes environments. In a recent podcast, Benny shared two moments that really stuck with me: When the CTO at one of the largest airlines in the world deployed Zero, we were up and running in about 15 minutes. The CTO basically said, “that’s it?” — which says a lot about how much complexity teams are used to dealing with, and how impactful it is when something just works without turning into a massive project. Another customer segmented 15,000 assets in a month with automation and almost no human interaction. Two completely different orgs, but the underlying challenge is the same: massive, business-critical infrastructure that has to stay up, stay operational, and stay secure at the same time.
