Kit Merker reposted thisYesterday, I shared why the industry needs a new way of working: the Agent Centric Development Cycle (AC/DC). Today at #SonarSummit, we announced several innovations to help bring this to life. To lead the next era of software development, Sonar is evolving to support the full Guide-Verify-Solve needs of agentic workflows. 🛠️Solving for Quality at the Source: With #SonarSweep, we’re cleaning and remediating the very datasets used to train and fine-tune LLMs, reducing vulnerabilities by up to 67%. ⚡Context-Aware Engineering: With Sonar #ContextAugmentation, we ensure agents are "repo-aware," injecting real-time insights so they adhere to your specific standards during generation. ☑️Native Agentic Reasoning: We are bringing our analysis natively to any agentic workflow with #SonarQube #AgenticAnalysis (via MCP or CLI). This enables agents to self-verify their work through native reasoning flows. ⚙️Autonomous Remediation: With #SonarQube #RemediationAgent, we’re giving teams the power to automatically repair quality gate blockers in real-time, closing the "review-fix-verify" loop autonomously. 🧱Stable Architecture: Now generally available, SonarQube #Architecture detects architectural drift to ensure rapid, agent-led changes don’t compromise your application’s underlying modularity. By expanding into the Guide and Solve elements of the AC/DC, and furthering our strength in the Verification stage, Sonar is ensuring that agentic code generation happens with higher effectiveness, lower risk, and lower cost. Kit Merker reposted thisKit Merker reposted thisIntroducing kubemark-ai - Run NVIDIA DGX Cloud Benchmarks on Kubernetes, vCluster, and Any GPU Machine Every AI team needs to answer: "How fast are our GPUs, really?" NVIDIA open-sourced dgxc-benchmarking - their official GPU benchmark suite for validating AI infrastructure. But it only works with Slurm. kubemark-ai bridges that gap. One command to run the same NCCL and training benchmarks on: - Any Kubernetes cluster (GKE, EKS, DOKS, bare metal) - Any GPU machine directly via Docker (no K8s needed) - Inside vCluster for isolated, multi-tenant benchmarking with zero GPU overhead I tested it on an NVIDIA DGX Spark (GB10 - ARM64 Grace + Blackwell) and GKE with L4 GPUs. Real results, real hardware, real numbers. What's inside: - 5 NCCL communication benchmarks (AllReduce, AllGather, ReduceScatter, AllToAll, SendRecv) - Training benchmarks (GPT-2 portable, plus Qwen3-30B and Llama 3.1-8B via NeMo) - Works with any NVIDIA GPU — H100, A100, B200, L40S, L4, DGX Spark GB10 - Built-in dashboard with sourced reference numbers from NVIDIA's dgxc-benchmarking repo - vCluster isolation proves <2.3% overhead vs bare metal — control plane virtualization, not data plane Open source (Apache 2.0): https://lnkd.in/g-XZrXf5 Would love feedback - what benchmarks or GPU types should I add next? #GPU #Kubernetes #NVIDIA #AI #MLOps #vCluster #Benchmarking #OpenSource #NCCL #DGXSpark

Kit Merker liked thisKit Merker liked thisWe’re pleased to announce the appointment of Smita Ojha as Vice President, Technology at Flipkart. In this role, she will lead the platforms that serve as the backbone for many of our technology systems. In her own words, she’s excited about working at the place that has laid the foundation and raised the bar for technology standards within India. Smita brings over 20 years of experience building large-scale systems, distributed platforms, and AI/ML solutions at iconic technology organizations. Her career began in 2002, working on SharePoint and later becoming the first engineer to deploy it to the cloud, gaining expertise in backend, query, ranking, machine learning, and security. She then handled extremely large-scale systems at Meta and Google, covering commerce, analytics, data platform, identity management, security, and compliance. Most recently, as SVP of Engineering at Mindtickle, she launched GenAI product lines, scaled legacy platforms for global users, and optimized R&D using a Data Mesh Architecture on Snowflake. Smita holds an MS in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a BS in Computer Science from IIT, with a strong academic foundation in collaborative filtering and data warehousing. In many ways, Smita has been at the center of some of the most critical technology disruptions and evolutions over the last 2 decades. She’s now looking forward to continuing her legacy with Flipkart - where she was drawn by the company’s culture of empowerment, audacity and bias for action. Her decision is also driven by a desire to contribute to India's tech sector and work with some of the best minds across functions. As a leader, she believes in a foundation of trust - established through being a subject matter expert, maintaining transparency and achieving goals together with a shared purpose. When not driving technological advancements at work, Smita describes herself as being “crazy about chess” to the extent that she’d rather watch a chess game than that new Netflix series. In addition to that, she enjoys playing strategic board games with family, gardening, and her daily walks in nature for grounding. As we always do, we asked her for a book recommendation, and her answer was The Spy and The Traitor. A rather different choice, we must say! Based on a true story, it offers leadership lessons, particularly about making critical decisions with limited data and the need for perfection. Buy it on Flipkart, now: https://lnkd.in/g_irteXa Welcome to Flipkart, Smita - we’re excited to have you! #Flipkart #NewHire #Technology #Platforms #Engineering #NewFlipster

🎯 Running inference workloads on Kubernetes? I just wrote a deep dive on Gateway API Inference Extension and how it works. The Gateway API Inference Extension introduces two new Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs): InferenceModel and InferencePool. By using these two new resources, along with the endpoint selector, your L7 routing infrastructure becomes an “Inference Gateway” enabling you to self-host GenAI/LLMs with a “model-as-a-service” mindset. https://lnkd.in/g_eFqwUd #ai #llm #genai #inference

How do you automate #InfrastructureAsCode (IaC) workflows at scale? Manually managing infrastructure doesn’t scale. That’s why programmatic orchestration is a game-changer for modern infrastructure platforms. Pulumi’s Automation API enables programmatic control over stack operations like 'update', 'init', and 'destroy', making workflows more efficient. Here are three best practices to streamline infrastructure automation: 1. Orchestrate Multi-Stack Operations - Managing multiple stacks? Use Automation API to coordinate actions across projects while maintaining modularity—reducing complexity and improving efficiency. 2. Separate Configuration from Code - Externalizing configuration allows teams to distribute precompiled Automation API binaries, so they don’t need to execute source code directly. This is a best practice for #security and maintainability. 3. Choose Local vs. Inline Source Wisely - Local source works best when different teams handle Automation API and Pulumi programs separately. - Inline source is ideal when a single team owns both or when tighter compliance controls are required. Learn best practices in the "Platform Engineering: Recommended Practices for Infrastructure as Code" ebook: https://hubs.ly/Q039dgbT0 #PlatformEngineering #DevOps #Terraform
