  • MascotGO: From ASU+GSV Demo to #1 “College AI Concierge”

    -

    Apr 2025 — ASU+GSV Launchpad demo (awareness + credibility)
We debuted at ASU+GSV. A launchpad-stage demo demanded a story that resonated with educators, investors, and students — not just a feature tour. Delivering a short, compelling demo on that stage required narrowing the message to mission, product differentiators (knowledge graph, agentic concierge), and social impact. The demo also positioned MascotGO as a credible entrant in the AI-for-education conversation.

Delivering a short, compelling demo on that stage required narrowing the message to mission, product differentiators (knowledge graph, agentic concierge), and social impact. The demo also positioned MascotGO as a credible entrant in the AI-for-education conversation.

May 2025 — MascotGO Pulse launch (product + PR)
We launched MascotGO Pulse — a social-listening, enrollment-intelligence product — and packaged actual data work as public insights. The PR combined trend narratives with product value, and PRNewswire pickup amplified reach. Turning internal analytics into media-ready insights meant balancing rigor (methodology, caveats) with storytelling.

Jun 2025 — AI/Tech Investment Forum (SF) keynote (investor & market framing) At the AI/Tech Investment Forum I articulated how MascotGO fits into a broader “higher-education social economy.” Beyond product features, this talk framed market size and monetization pathways for institutional partners.

Jul 2025 — Publish Pulse Insights (content + SEO) We published a steady stream of Pulse insights on our blog and Medium. These posts were deliberately written to answer searcher intent at scale. Each long-form piece doubled as both user education and organic SEO content, optimized for key terms we wanted to own.

Oct 2025 — Fall Northeast Innovation Forum keynote (K-12 audience) This forum pushed MascotGO’s message into the K-12 world. We showed how college-fit thinking should start earlier and how districts might work with platforms that support discovery and longitudinal records. That talk expanded our partner pipeline conversations.

Nov 2025 — #1 Google ranking for “College AI Concierge” This outcome validated the product-as-content strategy and dramatically reduced paid acquisition needs.

The Edison Best New Product Awards™ is an annual competition honoring excellence in new product and service development, marketing, human-centered design, and innovation. The competition is open to innovative organizations across the globe. The Edison Awards are focused on the innovators as much as the innovations – a unique distinction in the world of award programs. Award winners represent "game changing" products and services, as well as excellence and leadership in innovation around four criteria: Concept, Value, Delivery, and Impact. An Edison Award represents significant value to the award winner and to the cause of innovation and highlights the strong marketing value of an unbiased 3rd-party validation.

The Awards are named after Thomas Alva Edison (1847-1931) whose extraordinary new product and market development methods garnered him 1,093 U.S. patents and made him a household name across the world. The Edison Awards™ symbolize the persistence and excellence personified by Thomas Edison and his Menlo Park team, while also strengthening the human drive for innovation, creativity, and ingenuity.
