For Specialist Training Delivery Nadine, every new hire class is a chance to pay forward the support from leaders and mentors she received when she started. Starting her #LifeAtATT in our call centers herself, she knows firsthand the early difficulties new reps experience and how to overcome to provide the best customer experience possible. We asked her about the skills needed to bring the AT&T Guarantee to life for millions across the country and here’s what she said: “A lot of us come into our first call center role nervous and unsure. For that reason, I try to create an environment where people feel supported and capable of growing. I train people across several customer-facing organizations, and it’s one of my favorite parts of the job to get to support so many teams. Across all of them, adaptability is huge. Technology changes fast, customer expectations evolve constantly, and now two days are exactly the same. Communication, empathy, critical thinking, and being able to genuinely connect with people makes all the difference.”

Recently Sonya, Lead Sourcing Management, and some of her teammates took a trip to Network Operations to take a tour of the facilities with Senior Real Estate & Construction Manager Taylor. How does seeing a few installations help with legal work? We’ll let Sonya explain: “We are all working to put the customer first, period. This trip helped me understand how our job functions relate to one another. I work with contracts and suppliers, and the question we always ask ourselves is, ‘Is this a mission critical contract?’ I had the chance to see our network in action, and now I have even more knowledge to answer that question and continue to support our Network Ops teams.” #LifeAtATT
