Updates

  • Opening a new branch in lower Manhattan’s Tribeca neighborhood is a major milestone for Wells Fargo. Not because we’re new to the area. On the contrary, it’s because we’re enhancing our investment and commitment to a place that means so much to so many. “This is an important community,” said Wells Fargo Head of AI and co-CEO of Consumer Banking and Lending Saul Van Beurden. “This is an important neighborhood, not only for Manhattan, but also for the bank. This is the 28th branch that we have opened here in Manhattan. We now have 80 branches in the whole state of New York, and we’re not done yet.” At the event, the Wells Fargo Foundation announced a $400,000 grant to Renaissance Economic Development Corporation — a nonprofit lender dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs across New York and New Jersey. Our partners at the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce also joined us to mark the occasion. Take a closer look at the full grand opening and hear from our leaders and community partners.

  • Happy Lunar New Year from Wells Fargo. We are proud to partner with Lisk Feng to create Year of The Horse artwork that celebrates the progress and resilience of our customers and employees. Inspired by the Horse’s symbolism of strength, momentum, and perseverance, this concept tells a story of purposeful, collective journeys. Wishing you boundless opportunities as you forge ahead on your path in the new year. #LunarNewYear

  • With a team of nearly 400 employees, Windy Oliver has plenty of opportunities to think about leadership and the responsibilities that come with it. Through her years as an Executive Vice President at Wells Fargo, Windy has identified three practices every leader can implement —– fairness, grace, and active listening. “Let the work speak for itself, no matter where it comes from,” said Windy. “I urge colleagues and other leaders to not judge an employee or individual by their worst day and to build a sense of inclusion through careful listening. When employees are heard, they feel respected.” Windy is a longtime supporter of the National Urban League and a board member for The Harvey B. Gantt Center for African American Arts + Culture in Charlotte, North Carolina. This Black History Month, we celebrate employees like Windy who are making a difference at work and in the community. #WeAreWellsFargo
