  • We’re grateful to our Client Advisory Council members for coming together last week in LA to share the candid insight and perspective that help us stay close to what L&D leaders need most. Thank you for helping us think bigger, listen better, and continue building alongside the leaders doing this work every day.

Last week, we brought together a group of L&D leaders we deeply respect and asked them for one thing: honesty. We heard what’s working, what’s missing, and what the organizations they serve actually need. We talked about what products to build next, new open enrollment strategies, and what L&D teams should be planning for now to stay ready for what’s ahead. This is why Abilitie built the Client Advisory Council - to stay close to the people doing the hard work of developing leaders at scale and partner on solving their gnarly problems. A sincere thank you to the leaders who joined us and shaped the conversation: Jennifer Campbell, Erica Knisely, M.S., Andre Hannemann Harris, Jessica Crooker Buckendahl, Max Windham, Satu Salminen, Alisha Rodgers, JD, MBA, Katherine Mearns, Stephanie Johnson, PHR, and Mark Kaestner, Ed.D. #LeadershipDevelopment #ClientAdvisory #LearningAndDevelopment #Abilitie

  • #ATD26 was one for the history books. Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth to demo Case Challenges, joined us for our Monday night happy hour, or attended our Chief Strategy Officer’s speaking session. AI was top of mind across the conference, but Abilitie’s focus remains clear: leadership development powered by practice and hands-on, human-centered learning. At ATD26, we showed how leaders build agility and confidence through faculty-led, experiential, and social learning. Our team-based simulations with AI insights help leaders practice judgment and decision-making before the real pressure arrives. • An engaged audience, a real conversation, and one big idea: Leadership development gets more powerful when people have a chance to practice. At HCI SPARK HR 2026, CLO Jennifer Alesia and Abilitie’s Tricia Burke explored what happens when AI, experiential learning, and human connection come together in leadership development. Thank you to Human Capital Institute for hosting such an engaged community of HR and L&D leaders, and to everyone in the room for bringing this conversation to life. #LeadershipDevelopment #ExperientialLearning #LearningAndDevelopment #AIinLearning

The world doesn't need more managers with credentials. It needs leaders with judgment. On June 2 at 11:00 AM ET, we're joining Training Industry for a live conversation about how the way professionals develop leadership skills is changing, and what a modern path to leadership looks like today. Bjorn Billhardt (CEO, Abilitie), Sam George (TED Conferences), and Alexis Stokes (St.Edward's University) will dig into why the traditional MBA model is overdue for a rethink and share why a smarter, faster path to leadership is here. If you're a working professional ready to grow your leadership skills without stepping away from your career, we'd love to have you join us. ➡️ Register here: https://lnkd.in/eM56DmtW #ExecutiveEducation #FutureOfWork #AILeadership #CareerGrowth

  • ⏰ Don't miss this week's webinar for GCC L&D leaders. If you're responsible for developing leaders in the Gulf Cooperation Council, join our webinar on Thursday at 9am BST | 10am CEST | 12pm GST | 4pm SGT. We'll be exploring the challenge of developing a new generation of leaders in a region where talent is fast becoming the most valuable commodity. Learn more about the webinar from Abilitie GCC Co-CEO Valérie Scheer in her post ⬇️ #EmergingLeaders #LeadershipPipeline #MiddleEast #LeadershipDevelopment

Excited to host this panel next Thursday with two genuine experts in the field! A little backstory. When Martin Checinski and I set up Abilitie's GCC presence last year, the first thing we did was go for coffee. Lots of coffee. With as many people in the regional community as would have us. Besides caffeine, we received amazing advice on how to approach Abilitie's new presence, and also noted down the main questions that came up repeatedly. One of them: how do you *actually* build the next line of leaders, in a region moving fast and a world that's only getting more volatile, when leadership development hasn't kept pace? Thursday's webinar feels like a full-circle moment to bring some answers together. I'll be hosting Rania AlGhamdi, Director of Talent Learning & Development at Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH), and my fellow Abilitie GCC Co-CEO Martin, for a conversation on what experience-led leadership development actually looks like for middle managers in this part of the world. A few of the questions we'll get into: ▪️ Where the biggest gaps in middle manager preparedness sit today ▪️ How L&D shifts when AI makes knowledge a commodity and judgement becomes the differentiator ▪️ What scalable, experience-led leadership development looks like in practice The aspiration for this one: tangible takeaways you can start implementing this afternoon, not a big philosophical talk. Hosted in partnership with People Matters Middle East. Thursday May 14 at 12pm GST. Free to join, link in the comments. ⬇️
