The Thrive Forward Leaders' Forum (now in its second year!) convened May 20 in Miami for a powerful night of learning, connection and action around one of the most pressing topics in business today: AI readiness. Here are some highlights from the night: - Opening keynote from AI Strategist Trudy-Ann A., set the stage with a compelling look at where we are and where we're headed - Jonathan Hodge, President & CEO of Advantage Performance Group, delivered a dynamic AI Readiness Leadership Framework - Showcase speakers from Miami Tech Works and the AI Center @ Barry University provided real life examples of AI use cases including: - Leonie Timothee, SHRM-CP from Intercontinental Miami, and AI consultants Britney Mapang and Nelson Santos. Discussions continued at the roundtables with Advantage Performance Group, BTS, Harness Intelligence, HER-MINE.AI, AI Center @ Barry University, Miami Dade College AI Center and Miami Tech Works. Every participant left with a custom 90-day action plan, ready to put into practice within their organizations. Last week, we brought that idea to 225 Mission Lane employees in Richmond, VA, and you could feel the shift in the room. Liz Wiseman’s Impact Players research shows why some people, with the same talent and the same hours, contribute at a much higher level. Even better: That gap is closable. That was the premise behind Impact Lab, a half-day, hands-on AI experience created by our thought leader partners, Harness Intelligence and The Wiseman Group. Participants used AI to apply the Impact Players practices to their actual work. By the end of the session, each person had built three practical AI tools: - The Maximizer: Get clear on where your contribution matters most - The Finisher: Unblock work that keeps getting stuck - The Lightmaker: Make work lighter for someone else 225 people.
