To help protect you from fraud, we’ll sometimes check it’s you making an online payment. Just log in to our app to confirm it’s a genuine purchase.
Cancel your card in seconds
If your card is lost, stolen or damaged you can order a replacement card straightaway using the app.
How our app keeps your card even safer
Our app has some advanced security features that aren’t available in Barclaycard Online Servicing. Many phones and tablets now offer biometric log-in protection, so can unlock your app using a fingerprint or camera.
And if your phone or tablet go missing, your credit card details stay safe because the app doesn’t store any account information on your device. So as long as you keep your log-in details safe, you’re the only one who can access your account.

Spending analysis and insights
How to view your Barclaycard spending with the Barclaycard app.
To start, log in and from your home screen, tap spending.
Here you'll see the total spend for the current month, as well as a breakdown of spending categories.
You can tap on a previous month to see more spending breakdowns, and tap on a spending category to find out more details.
Here you'll see an overview of that spending category, showing you a comparison to the previous month's spend.
Tap on the spending breakdown to find out further details.
Here you'll see a breakdown by company.
You can tap on a company to see more details.
Here you'll see the individual transactions.
Tap on a transaction to find out more details.
Here you'll see the details for the transaction you have selected.
This will include the description, payment method, and the card used.
You can tap the back arrow to explore other transactions, and there you go.
See your latest balance and transactions
How to view your Barclaycard balance and transactions with the Barclaycard app.
Once you've logged into the app, tap on your Barclaycard account.
Here you can see your current balance and your available credit.
This shows your last statement amount and date, as well as the minimum payment needed.
You can tap here to make a payment.
Pending transactions will show up at the top, and if you scroll down, you'll see your past payments.
Tap on a transaction to find out more details.
You can see information such as the business type, the payment method, and what town and country the payment was made in.
And by scrolling down, you'll see the cardholder and which card was used, and there you go.
Frequently asked questions
No, you don’t need both apps. You can manage your Barclaycard from the Barclays app, so you don’t need to download the Barclaycard app as well.
You'll need to contact us on 0345 734 5345 to get a refund if your account is in credit. We’re here Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm, and Saturday from 9am to 5pm.
There are several ways to pay your Barclaycard bill.
App
Go to ‘Your cards’ on the home page, select your Barclaycard and then 'Make a payment'. Watch our video to see how to pay your Barclaycard bill using the app .
By Direct Debit
You can set up a Direct Debit in the Barclaycard or Barclays app. Select ‘Your cards’ from the home page, choose your Barclaycard and then ‘Manage Direct Debit’. There are three Direct Debit payment options:
- The full balance.
- A fixed amount, which needs to be enough to cover your minimum payment each month.
- The minimum payment.
If your card is eligible, you can also contact us to set up a Direct Debit
From your bank account
If you have a Barclays current account, you can pay using our app by going to ‘Your cards’ on the home page and selecting your card followed by 'Make a payment'.
If you have a current account with another bank, you can use these details to make a payment from its app, online or telephone banking services.

By phone
You can call us to make a payment by phone. You'll need your Barclaycard and your debit card to hand. For details of all payment options, please see your statement.

There are a few ways to pay your Amazon Barclaycard bill, including by Direct Debit.
By Direct Debit
You can set up a Direct Debit using the Barclaycard app . If you already have the Barclays app , you can also do it from there. You can then take your pick from three payment options:
- The full balance.
- A fixed amount, which needs to be enough to cover your minimum payment each month.
- The minimum payment.
By debit card in the app
Log in to our app, go to ‘Your cards’ and select your Amazon Barclaycard. Then select ‘Make a payment’.
From your bank
You can make a payment to your Amazon Barclaycard using your bank's own telephone or internet banking service. To do this, you’ll need to use the following sort code and account number:
- Our sort code: 20-99-67
- Our account number: 38550875
Please use your card number as the payment reference.
By calling us
You can pay over the phone by calling us . You'll need your Barclaycard and your debit card to hand. For details of all payment options, please see your statement.
If you have a problem with a Barclaycard transaction that the retailer or company (or liquidator, where applicable) can’t put right, then you could make a claim with us. If you've got a question about a transaction, we recommend that you start by getting in touch with the company direct. This is likely to be the quickest way to get the resolution you want.
If you've spoken to them, or you don't recognise the company or transaction, we can help you by logging a dispute. If you can provide evidence of your contact with them and their response, that could help support your claim.
Claim with the app
If you use the Barclaycard app , you can make a claim. Select the transaction you want to dispute, select ‘Help with this transaction’ and follow the steps – we’ll explain what we need at every step.
Claim online
You’ll need to be the primary cardholder to claim using our online form . We'll explain what we need at every stage and you'll be able to upload photos or digital copies of any supporting evidence we need. If you have more than one Barclaycard, you’ll need to fill out a form for each card.
Claim by phone
Call us on 0800 161 5291. We’re here from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday, and from 9am to 5pm on Saturday. To maintain a quality service, we may monitor or record phone calls. See our call charges .

You can view your PIN in our app:
- Select ‘Your cards’ from the home page, and then 'View card details & PIN' or 'View PIN'
- Make sure no one's looking at your device
- Enter the 5-digit code you use to access the app
- Select 'View card PIN'.
You can also change your PIN at a Barclays cash machine, or at a cash machine of most other banks in the UK.
If you're concerned about fraud on your account, please check your statements carefully for any fraudulent activity on your card, and report any suspicious activity as soon as possible on 01604 230 230 (+44 (0)1604 230 230, if calling from abroad). If you think someone you don't know has seen your PIN, please change it as soon as possible.

Select ‘More’ on the home page and then ‘Statements and documents’.
You can update your contact details in the Barclaycard app or the Barclays app .
Log in to the app and select the profile icon in the top-left of the home page to check and change your details.
If you’re moving abroad, please let us know by sending us a message from the ‘Help’ section of your app. You’ll need a UK address to continue using your Barclaycard.

To check if you have any balance transfer or money transfer offers available, log in to the Barclays or Barclaycard app.
You can choose to get alerts by text or email to help you stay on top of important things, like when a bill is due or when your statement’s ready for you.
Overpayments or refunds on your account can result in your balance being in credit. You can contact us to transfer the credit amount to a UK bank account.
1. From the home page of our app, select your Barclaycard and open ‘Activate card’.
2. We’ll ask you for the card’s 3-digit security code, which you can find on the back of your card.
3. You can choose whether to automatically accept any credit limit increases you become eligible for in the future.
4. Activate your card and you can start using it straight away.
1. From the home page of our app, open ‘Your cards’ and select your Barclaycard.
2. From the menu, select ‘Manage Direct Debit’. You can choose how much to pay monthly by selecting between statement balance, minimum amount or another amount.
3. Once you’ve made your selection, continue to enter your bank or building society details. We’ll ask for the bank name, account holder, sort code and account number.
4. Confirm your details are correct and your new payment will show on your next statement.
1. Open ‘Your cards’ from the home page of our app and select your current Barclaycard.
2. Scroll down to ‘Transfers and offers’ to see if you have an offer.
3. To use the offer to transfer a balance to your Barclaycard, select ‘Get offer’ and enter the amount and card details, then agree that you’ve read the ‘Key facts’.
4. Select ‘Confirm’ to submit the balance transfer request.
1. Open the profile symbol in the top left corner of your app homepage, followed by settings.
2. Go to ‘Push notifications’ to switch these alerts on or off.
