Robin Hunt reacted on thisRobin Hunt reacted on thisHere's what we're building and why it matters. Vanta Trading is live on SN8 with funded accounts, 100% profit splits, and accounts scaling to $2.5M. Alpha collateral keeps everyone accountable. 15,000 alpha already burned through slashing. Hyperscaled is the next layer. It lets anyone access a funded account or spin up their own prop firm on top of Vanta and Hyperliquid. Multiple entities are already preparing to launch. Then comes the agent marketplace. Trading strategies get broken into composable pieces, each run by a different agent, with profits shared across contributors. Agents can pull in infrastructure from across Bittensor for compute, inference, and data. Glitch Financial ties it together. Proven traders and agents surface on our compliant copy trading platform, and the revenue flows back into the network. We're competing with traditional prop firms now while building the infrastructure for an agent-driven trading economy. Read the full vision from our CEO:

A £1 million Shopify implementation. This week I’ve been speaking with several clients who currently have RFPs out (none in the UK). These opportunities are large, several are in the £750k+ range, with one already at £1 million for just phase 1. From feedback at the eCommerce Expo last week, the number of client leads collected by platform providers looking to migrate was approximately 300% above expectations. Shopify has clearly been pushing aggressively into the enterprise space. These signs, big RFPs, over performance on lead generation, suggest they are making real headway. And some hard data that supports this: Shopify’s active stores grew ~3.7% quarter-over-quarter in Q2 2025, and ~9% year-over-year. For the market, this signals momentum. Enterprise deals are on the rise, migration appetite is accelerating, and Shopify is forcing other vendors to sharpen their propositions. For everyone else, it means more choice and more competition. *Pic is my best effort at using AI to give me a branded Shopify shirt, think my AI skills need work 😳 #DigitalCommerce #EcommerceTrends #EnterpriseCommerce #Shopify #RetailInnovation #DigitalTransformation #CommerceStrategy #FutureOfCommerce

𝗨𝗞 𝗔𝗜 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗽𝘀 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 £𝟭.𝟳𝗯𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝟭 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱. But there is a big talent challenge coming... Recent data from Dealroom.co shows that AI now represents 30% of all UK VC funding (up from 13% a decade ago). With companies like Synthesia (£146m Series D) and ElevenLabs (£184m Series C) leading the charge. The numbers are impressive: - 179 funding rounds for UK AI startups - 68% based in London, but activity spreading nationwide - UK commanding 30% of total European VC funding ($8bn in H1 2025) 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 Here's what I'm seeing from founders and Exec Leadership teams in this space: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗜 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝘀 tough Every funded startup is chasing the same pool of machine learning engineers, data scientists, and AI product specialists. 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗸𝘆𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗱 Series A companies are now competing with tech giants on compensation packages. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗴𝗮𝗽 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 Finding candidates who can bridge technical AI expertise with commercial application remains incredibly challenging. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 The most successful organisations aren't just throwing money at the problem. They're: 1️⃣ 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝘆𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 - Combining permanent hires with specialist contractors and fractional experts 2️⃣ 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘂𝗽𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 - Training existing engineers in AI rather than competing for scarce talent 3️⃣ 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻 - Tapping into talent pools in Manchester, Edinburgh, and other tech hubs The funding is there. The market opportunity is clear. But without the right talent strategy, even the best-funded AI startup / scaleups will struggle to deliver. Are you an AI founder navigating this talent landscape? 5 critical hires closed in 90 days. How? Panel alignment > sourcing volume At this web3 scaleup, sourcing wasn’t the only problem. Misalignment was. ❌ 80% drop-off at tech assessment ❌ Panels weren’t aligned ❌ Interviews were slow and inconsistent Russell, Head of People, brought us in to get things working before flooding the funnel. Here’s how we fixed it: 🔧 Aligned the panel before sourcing We co-designed role-relevant, real-world assessments with Eng leads. Clearer signal. Higher pass rates within 2 weeks. 🎯 Treated interviews like a selling process We coached panels, tightened feedback loops, and sped everything up. Candidates moved through with clarity and momentum. 🚀 Then deployed our Sourcing Engine Mapped talent pools across 4 regions, tiered by fit, and moved fast. The result? → 5 hires made (DevOps, Frontend + 3 confidential) → Candidate experience transformed → Panels aligned and fast-moving → $440k value delivered in 3 months Sourcing works best when the process doesn’t get in the way. Start with alignment. Prioritise experience. Teach your team to sell. Then scale search.

Here are some UK VC Trends as We Enter H2 2025 🚀 👉1.2 trillion tech sector & #3 globally overall – UK remains a powerhouse with deep early-stage pipelines and thriving scale-ups. 👉VC up ~31% YoY (Jan–Apr), led by standout mega-rounds in AI, healthtech, biotech and deep tech. 👉UK AI startups raised $1.03 bn in Q1, the strongest Q1 in 3 years – but securing growth capital and talent remains a challenge. 👉Healthtech (/life sciences) took the lead with $1.8 bn in Q1 – more than fintech and software combined. 👉VC investment is becoming more focused: fewer but larger rounds into specialised verticals (AI, drug discovery, AI-infra). Why it matters: 👉Investors are favouring depth over spread – champions of specific verticals are winning funding . 👉UK’s mature ecosystem + policy reforms (e.g. pension and department-backed funds, NWF) offer momentum, but better exits and visa/tax clarity are still needed . 👉As someone in recruitment, I’m seeing strong demand for talent in AI, healthtech and deep tech—especially in roles requiring specialised expertise. Built-in Opportunity: Founders with technically rich propositions and evidence of focus continue to unlock deep pockets. The key for H2? Demonstrate real product-market fit in niche verticals—and the capital will follow. My Opinion: I believe the shift to quality over quantity in funding rounds is a healthy sign – it shows maturity in the UK ecosystem.🏅

Market Insights at Zeren: Technology & Product This morning I caught up with Bryonny Barton, Director in our Technology practice. I asked her the question we’re hearing most often: What’s really happening in the tech and product market right now? Her view was clear — the market isn’t booming, but it is stabilising and recalibrating. Looking at the detail: 📊 A busier start to 2026 — but targeted Across VC, PE and Corporate, activity has picked up. More roles are being hired. But: Corporates remain cautious Growth is happening in pockets AI implementation is a clear investment priority This isn’t a surge. It’s disciplined capital deployment. 🔥 Where demand is strongest Four areas stand out: 1) AI / LLM Engineers 2) Cloud and Data talent across engineering 3) Commercial Product Leaders (CPO / VP Product), particularly in PE-backed businesses 4) AI capability is no longer optional. Companies want it embedded into operations in ways that drive commercial impact. On the product side, one signal was telling: most CPO / VP Product candidates exploring new roles are already in active processes. Demand is real. 🚀 Product: from enabler to growth engine Two years ago, product was often seen as a support function. Today, boards expect it to drive: Innovation Revenue Competitive advantage The conversation has shifted from “What are we building?” to “How is product driving the business?” Roadmaps aren’t enough. Product leaders are expected to talk about revenue, profitability, pricing and go-to-market impact. In short: product is no longer supporting the business — it’s expected to drive it. Engineering expectations are evolving in parallel. Technical strength is assumed. Commercial awareness is differentiating. ⚠️ The gaps emerging There’s a growing shortage of commercial product leadership — leaders who connect product decisions directly to financial outcomes. In a tougher economic climate, that gap hurts. The second gap? Strategic thinking in an AI-enabled world. Many companies are experimenting tactically with AI. Far fewer are rethinking product strategy from first principles. AI isn’t just a feature layer — it changes cost structures, user expectations and competitive dynamics. From chatting to Bryonny, I think there are 4 key points here for anyone building Technology teams: 1) Technology leadership is being judged less on what it builds — and more on what it delivers commercially. 2) Execution still matters. 3) But commercial clarity is now the differentiator. 4) Curious if others are seeing the same shift.

Smart founders don’t choose channels, they stack them. Social builds the stage. Email starts the show. At SSA, we don’t ask “which channel works best?” We ask: how do we stack them for compound impact? Here’s how it plays out: → A founder engages with your LinkedIn post or visits your Website → You spot intent and research their company → You send a short, direct cold email based on that signal → You follow up by referencing content they already resonated with That’s not “inbound” or “outbound”. That’s smart sequencing. Email alone can feel cold. Social alone can lack direction. But when your name shows up in their feed and their inbox and both messages are relevant, they start to trust. You’re not just some random sales guy. You’re someone who gets it. That’s how we’ve helped clients go from 1-3% reply rates to 25%+. So no, don’t ditch one channel for the other. Build the bridge. It’s slower upfront but 10x more sustainable long-term. PS: Want to see a full example of this in action?

Most of us use LLMs over Google now, right? It makes sense that many people are using it to start their headhunting journey... How would you fare? Would ChatGPT recommend you? The hard truth is, you need to be known in the market to be headhunted (It also really bloody helps when it comes to hiring top talent into your team, getting promoted, achieving internal buy-in with stakeholders and much more...) Ask yourself these questions... ✨ Do you speak at events? ✨ Are you contributing your thought leadership to articles and respected industry publications? ✨ Have you appeared on podcasts? ✨ Do you appear on the DataIQ 100? ✨ Will people give your name when a certain specialisation of data, analytics and AI leadership is brought up? If the answer is no to most of these, chances are you need to be working on your leadership brand. Leadership branding skills can be learnt. People aren't born with the ability to create content, speak on stage or appear in industry lists. It's learnt. DM me if you'd like to know how I can help you with this upskilling! Shout out to Johanna Hutchinson, Ranil Boteju, Steven Pimblett, Alexandra Sidgreaves, Akhil Lalwani, Craig Suckling, Lindsay Mason and Murtz Daud, MBA - ChatGPT sees the work you're doing, and so do I! 👀 #leadershipbrand #dataleaders
