Yesterday I attended The Times CEO Summit, sponsored by ServiceNow, together with over 100 business leaders to discuss how we tackle some of the UK’s most pressing challenges—skills, investment, and the real-world application of AI.   What stood out wasn’t just the scale of innovation needed, but the urgency for implementation. What became clear throughout the day is that #AI is no longer optional, it’s becoming foundational to how organisations operate and evolve.    But there's a difference between adoption and impact. Rather than chasing AI for AI’s sake, we need to reframe the conversation- it’s a mindset shift. From optimisation to empathy, from faster to fairer. That’s the kind of transformation that will truly last.

It’s a strong vote of confidence in what local ecosystems like ours bring to the table, recognising that national growth doesn’t happen without regional strengths driving it. A major step in automated Pillar Two reporting! We successfully established direct transmission connectivity with HMRC for Pillar Two Reporting..... As part of this milestone, we conducted a test submission using sample data provided by HMRC through the Orbitax International Tax Platform (ITP), confirming the platform’s ability to securely connect and transmit to the HMRC system environment. This achievement underscores our ongoing commitment to enabling direct electronic filing (e-filing) with tax authorities around the world. It also serves as a key building block in delivering a comprehensive automated end-to-end Pillar Two compliance workflow through the Orbitax Global Minimum Tax (GMT) solution – from comprehensive data input to jurisdiction-specific calculations to populating the GIR and all other local Pillar 2 forms to submission and post-filing management. Further validation testing with expanded data sets will continue as HMRC publishes the final XSD/XML schema for Pillar Two submissions.We expect to extend similar e-filing connectivity to additional jurisdictions as part of its 2026 product roadmap. https://hubs.li/Q03XCb5R0
