  • We are delighted to announce that Gardens by the Bay’s Children’s Festival 2024, in collaboration with Disney and Pixar’s Inside Out 2, has been conferred the Licensing International Asian Award for Location-Based or Experiential Initiative of the Year!   Organised by Licensing International, the Asian Awards honour excellence and innovation in the licensing industry across Asia.   Last year's Children’s Festival at Gardens by the Bay was the only Inside Out 2-themed outdoor carnival in Southeast Asia with large-scale installations. Featuring an array of interactive installations and carnival booths inspired by Inside Out 2 characters, the event offered a creative and engaging platform for children to learn about their feelings through play, fostering conversations about emotional resilience in a fun and meaningful way. Gardens by the Bay's Children's Festival 2024 was supported by Singapore Tourism Board and Tote Board.   Thank you to our partners, supporters and colleagues who made this possible! This award is a recognition of the hard work and passion of our team in curating world-class, family-friendly experiences. We remain committed to bringing more meaningful and memorable experiences to visitors of all ages at Gardens by the Bay.   #gardensbythebay #ChildrensFestival #LicensingAwards

  • We are proud to share that Gardens by the Bay has achieved Gold Tier certification under the Singapore MICE Sustainability Certification (MSC), developed by the Singapore Association of Convention & Exhibition Organisers & Suppliers (SACEOS).   Launched in January 2024 and supported by the Singapore Tourism Board, the MSC seeks to guide the Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions (MICE) industry toward more sustainable practices — from carbon and waste management to social responsibility and procurement.   In November 2024, the MSC Framework was also recognised by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), affirming its global credibility and reinforcing Singapore’s position as a sustainable MICE destination.   Achieving this certification underscores the Gardens’ commitment towards incorporating sustainable practices into events held at the Gardens. We look forward to working with our clients and partners to grow an even “greener” Garden together.   #gardensbythebay #WhereSustainabilityBlooms #SingaporeMICESustainabilityCertification

  • Congratulations to our CEO, Felix Loh on being conferred the Medal of Commendation (Gold) at the May Day Awards 2025!   Presented by the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC), the Medal of Commendation (Gold) honours senior management who have made sustained, impactful contributions to the Labour Movement’s goals of improving workers’ wages, welfare and work prospects.   Mr Loh has consistently championed innovation and continuous learning, supporting enhancements to the Landscape Progressive Wage Model to strengthen career pathways for workers and introducing internship opportunities at the Gardens for students. In his role as Co-Chairman of the Tripartite Cluster for the Landscape Industry, Mr Loh advocated for the Outcome-Based Contracting model to raise productivity and encouraged partnerships with smaller firms to uplift industry standards. As Co-Chairman of the Tripartite Cluster for the Waste Management Industry, he emphasised job attractiveness, workers’ welfare, and skills enhancement. A strong supporter of the Labour Movement, Mr Loh contributed significantly to both tripartite clusters, fostering collaboration across all stakeholders in the landscape and waste management sectors. We are inspired by Mr Loh’s tireless efforts in driving meaningful change and his unwavering commitment to building a better, more inclusive workplace for all.    #gardensbythebay #MayDayAwards2025

  • 🌍 International Mother Earth Day 2025 🌍 This year’s theme, “Our Power, Our Planet,” is a timely reminder that every sustainable choice we make helps shape a better future for our planet.   At Gardens by the Bay, we are committed to reducing our environmental footprint through the use of renewable energy and innovative green technology. Each day, we repurpose around 60–70 tonnes of wood waste — sourced from tree pruning and industry across Singapore — to fuel our biomass boiler. Through a tri-generation process, the wood waste is converted into electricity, heating, and cooling to support our energy needs, thus reducing our reliance on fossil fuels and lowering carbon emissions.   By harnessing nature’s potential through innovative green technologies, we are taking tangible steps to create a more sustainable tomorrow — one branch, at a time. 🌱   #gardensbythebay #WhereSustainabilityBlooms

  • In case you missed it — here’s a glimpse of the joy that bloomed last weekend at Gardens by the Bay!   We unveiled Happy Life by renowned Spanish artist Manolo Valdés — a vibrant and joyful sculpture gifted by Ms Lee Tuan — now adding a splash of colours at The Meadow.   It was also a pleasure to launch the brand-new PropNex Family Zone, officially opened by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry Mr Gan Kim Yong, and Minister of State for Home Affairs and Social and Family Development Ms Sun Xueling.   Presented in collaboration with Community Chest Singapore, Families for Life, the Ministry of Social and Family Development, and PropNex, this new family-friendly space is designed to bring joy across generations through play and shared experiences.   We invite you to explore the PropNex Family Zone and soak in the beauty of the Gardens — there is something for everyone!   #gardensbythebay #VisitSingapore #PropNexFamilyZone #PublicArt

  • A rare visitor spotted at Gardens by the Bay!   An Oriental Plover (Charadrius veredus) was recently sighted in the Gardens – a rare treat for birdwatchers, as it’s seldom seen in Singapore. Native to the open grasslands and steppes of Mongolia and northern China, this migratory bird travels vast distances to reach its wintering grounds in Australia.   This surprise sighting highlights the biodiversity thriving in our green spaces, even in the heart of the city. Gardens by the Bay continues to be a sanctuary not just for people, but for wildlife too.     (Photos by Zheng Yifei)     #gardensbythebay #Biodiversity #UrbanNature #Birdwatching #WhereSustainabilityBlooms
