#CAGCareers – Just like Changi Airport connects people to the world, Galen Hu connects CAG staff and systems with the rest of cyberspace. A member of CAG’s Airport Operations Technology & Corporate IT team, Galen specialises in IT infrastructure and communications systems, managing CAG’s enterprise network as well as the broader airport-wide network. This is no easy feat – Galen says, “Changi Airport is the gateway to Singapore and an international icon, so there are considerable expectations from our stakeholders. We have to build and manage our network infrastructure to meet their needs, while ensuring resiliency, reliability and cyber-security.” To ensure he is able to do this job well, Galen actively seeks ideas and opinions from his colleagues and peers – “It’s not as scary as you think! It just gives me different views of a situation, and helps me think of more innovative solutions.” He adds, “Sometimes, we may think we already know a lot about network infrastructure, which leads us to stick to what is safe and familiar. But technology evolves fast, and we have to keep up or move even faster.” If you’re up to the challenge, Galen’s team is looking for a Network Infrastructure Specialist. Find out more about the role here: https://changi.me/LIJO16. Galen has this to say, “If you have the drive, skills and a love for aviation, you will enjoy working at CAG!” #CAGMagicMakers #FacesOfChangi #IMCAG #Airports #ChangiAirport #WeAreHiring

#CAGCareers - When Han Su Leng walks through Changi Airport, she doesn’t just see terminals – she sees stories. Families reuniting, travellers chasing new adventures, businesses connecting across continents. And now, she’s helping to write Changi's next chapter: Terminal 5 (T5). Su Leng, a Principal Architect at Changi Airport Planners and Engineers (CAPE), is currently seconded to the mega Changi East project. She works with consultants on a key section of the T5 development, ensuring the project’s quality, compliance, and on-time delivery. From coordinating with consultants to aligning with stakeholders, her work goes beyond blueprints and schedules. It’s about shaping the future of air travel and maintaining Changi’s reputation as a world-class airport. “Ensuring that design decisions flow through promptly and accurately to the construction stage, and achieving the best outcome for T5 – this is what I enjoy most,” Su Leng enthuses. Big projects bring big challenges. Tight timelines, evolving requirements, and countless moving parts are the norm. For Su Leng, staying adaptable and collaborating as a team is key. “We are always ready to take on new roles when required. It’s challenging but I am blessed with good teammates and colleagues who readily support and help each other,” Su Leng shares. The CAPE team is growing. As Changi Airport prepares for major transitions, such as the implementation of a 3-runway system and the integration of autonomous vehicle (AV) platforms into the operational environment, CAG hosted the Changi Airport Safety Seminar in March 2025, centred on the theme of ‘Navigating Transformation Safely’. Guest speakers from Airport Authority Hong Kong and iGA Istanbul Airport shared insights into their journeys towards multi-runway operations, while industry experts discussed the safe integration of AVs in aerodromes and the human factors associated with automation. Participants at the seminar included airlines, ground handling agents, government agencies and members of the Changi Airport community, all united in their commitment to ensuring a safe airport for our passengers, visitors and staff.

In February, we saw the coming together of the ONE Changi Community to make a difference in the lives of students from Metta School. Joining forces with CAG’s volunteers, Care Ambassadors from Certis, P-Serv Pte Ltd, and Raffles Medical Group guided the students on the processes of seeing a doctor. The students embarked on a hands-on experience in an environment that simulated the real world – from counter registration, interacting with the doctor, making payment, to collecting their prescribed medications. Each step was carefully designed to help them practice and acquire essential living skills. As the saying goes, it takes a village to raise a child. Our commitment to make Changi Airport more welcoming and inclusive for all is enabled by the strong support from our airport community, and their enthusiasm in creating a positive impact for our beneficiaries is greatly appreciated! #ONEChangi
