This came up in a forum that I participate where someone was joking about how no one could name Power Girl's eye color without looking it up (basically implying that everyone looks lower) and someone asked whether we'd ever seen a Kryptonian that doesn't have blue eyes. This seemed like something that people here could answer. For the sake of "one right answer", I'm willing to go with the first occurrence, or the most comprehensive answer, for selecting the correct one, if there are more cases than just one or two.

Here are a few examples (non-exhaustive list), with the info taken from the dc.fandom.com website, followed by some statistics about Kryptonians' eye colors showing that blue eyes seems to be dominant among them, even if far from being the only color.

Green eyes:

Theand'r Ban-El

Brown eyes:

Kru-El

Black eyes:

Kalel (Earth 23)

Hazel eyes seem rarer, as the only example I've been able to find in the comics is Syra.

Special mention:

I originally found these examples with a google search, combining the keywords "kryptonian" + "eyes" + eye colors, and then manually filtering the results.

Some stats

As a bonus, here are some statistics about Kryptonians' eye colors, automatically extracted from the dc.fandom.com website using its API. This is not limited to comics, and includes Kryptonians from live and animated movies/series, video games, and whatnot. A breakdown by comics/not comics would require extra work that I don't have time for. In addition, there might be missing data or errors on the dc.fandom website, so caveat emptor.

The raw data from my extraction is available here for download if anyone wants to play with it.

Additional comments can be found below the tables (e.g. what characters are included or not, how multiverse versions of the same character are handled, etc.)

  • Characters who have clones and versions of themselves in other universes are counted multiple times.
  • The many versions of Kal-El (>170) and Kara (>80) explain partly, but not completely, why blue eyes are so prevalent among Kryptonians referenced on the website. If we drop all the Kal-El and Kara versions from the data, 513 Kryptonians remain, of which 32% have blue eyes (compare to the original 47%), 43% an unspecified eye color, 11% brown eyes, 5% black eyes, 4% green eyes, and the rest a few rare colors already mentioned before.
  • A few other Kryptonians also have multiple versions (e.g. Alura In-Ze, Jor-El), but not on the same scale as Kal-El and Kara, so it could also explain partly the dominance of blue eyes among Kryptonian characters, but not completely.
  • Kryptonian animals like Krypto are included in the data.
  • For technical reasons, the data does not include some hybrids, like Kal from Earth 32 who is a Kryptonian/Martian with red eyes.
  • The green-eyed character with an unspecified gender is the Kryptonian monster Kancer.
  • Ten characters are described as having multiple eye colors, e.g. Faora Hu-Ul from Prime Earth, Kal-El from DCAU, or Bizarro from Arrowverse. In this case, the last eye color mentioned in the article categories is retained in the data (this is completely arbitrary and motivated only by my laziness).
  • One character (Kara Zor-El clone from Earth-One) is classified both in the "good characters" and "bad characters" website categories. I counted her only as part of the "good characters".

@FuzzyBoots I find the question interesting, though. Now someone brave enough might want to determine the proportion of Kryptonian characters who don't have blue eyes, or what is the earliest instance of a Kryptonian who doesn't have blue eyes. Commented yesterday

In the course of poking around, there have apparently been statements in the comics that both Superman and Supergirl are known for their piercing blue eyes, to the point where it's one of the things they have to cover up for their secret identities. Commented yesterday
