I'm having a party! I invited a bunch of famous people who I thought would fit the theme (including several who had already passed away - oops...), and then somebody turned up who wasn't supposed to be there at all! Still, I told him to come back a bit later and he'd be more than welcome then...

Which of these 12 pictured people was the interloper, and why? All others were on the official guestlist.

All of them except one

have names including the letters NYE (happy New Years Eve!)

The exception is

Johnny Depp, whose name contains NYD. If he comes back "a bit later" on New Year's Day then he'll be more than welcome!
