Satisfaction be darned. It’s about shipments.

Here we go again lumping phones of all price points into one pool and comparing it to Apple. It’s the only way other companies (like Samsung) can appear to be doing as good as Apple.

Those data shows satisfaction is high and basically tied with Samsung in the United States (a 1 point difference is not likely to be statistically significant). Also, from that "Satisfaction with flagship models overall scores 82, far outpacing legacy phones at 76" -- suggesting people really like their high end Samsung and Apple phones.

Put all this together and it suggests Apple is doing just fine with both sales and satisfaction.

This is an EU textbook definition of Anticompetitive! The only way the non-iPhone market is going to ever stand a chance at getting larger than the iPhone market (non-iPhone market in the EU is 70%, go figure) is for Apple to stop releasing products. It’s unfair that they release things that people in the EU want to buy and that has GOT to stop.

Very good news for Apple. iPhone 17 series have been exceptionally good. Base 17 is the best base model in years. I have the 17 Pro Max in Orange. Wonderful color and an excellent iPhone.
