    As a member of the Board of Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation, I play a vital leadership role in advancing the Foundation’s mission to support hospital services, enhance patient care, and ensure community health outcomes and responsible for governance, strategic oversight, advocacy, and fundraising in alignment with the Foundation’s values and long-term goals.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Help define, approve, and monitor the Foundation’s mission, vision, strategic plan, and annual goals.

    Provide fiduciary oversight: ensure financial health, integrity in reporting, compliance with legal, ethical, and governance standards.

    Support and participate in fundraising efforts: leveraging personal and community networks; advocating publicly; helping to cultivate donor relationships.

    Act as an ambassador: represent the Foundation in the community, communicate its impact, raise awareness, and build partnerships.
