One port for charging, the other can be used for whatever you want, be it audio, external storage, or display output.

the modern phone market is a hellscapeHeadphone jack is a tech dead end for mobile devices. The only use case left for it is premium overhead cans but noone is wearing those outside in the street or during commute. If they are they can buy an external USB C to jack DAC that will provide a superior audio conversion to what a phone is capable of anyway.
If you can afford a Galaxy Z Flip8 you can also afford 50 bucks for cheap bluetooth earbuds.
SD card is mostly trash these days. It's the worst quality NAND memory out there. Up until a year ago it had zero place in mobile devices except for the cheapest entry level phones up to 200 USD / EUR.
So you can't really criticize a premium device for not supporting poor man's features (SD card slot / headphone jack).

the modern phone market is a hellscapewhile I agree, at the same time you could work around things a bit via dongles or external storage that uses USB-C. It's quite inelegant, yes, but it's still something.
Also, this is just an anecdotal example, but I've been loving my wired headphones quite some more thanks to DACs/amps that use USB-C and allow for 3.5mm output. The sound is quite better than just having a normal 3.5mm connection haha.

China gets as well because clients care more about SoC power than anything, they would rather buy lame phone like A17 if it had 8Eg5 than having phone like A57.
The rest gets crappynos to increase margins per unit where they sell less.

Stop calling nor framing 70mm+ devices as "compact" just because they refuse to make the real Mini.
""Driving report seems to be something new we haven't seen before. It is curated in the Connected devices menu. What it promises is to log all of your car trips and various telematics automatically. All you have to do is select your car's Bluetooth connection so it can identify it and, of course, give the app a lot of permissions.""
Hmmm... anyone checked license agreement on that? Because more and more stuff like that popup and I have weird feeling that its preparing people to that insurance change that they preparing for ages now, where price and type of insurance will be dependent on user statistics of where, when it drive, and connection to phone, so they can monitor it 24/7
And yes, that is a thing, and its all around the world, Lots of companies lobby car makers to monitor and share user data and tracks to insurace companies.
