Man, photos look so much better than on the Oppo F9U. Especially the foliage. Shame that battery life is significantly weaker.
6600mah and is across the board, tied or worse in life than the s26u, and entirely outpaced by the mi 17 ultra 6000. thats a shockingly sad showing from vivo.
I got a European Variant of the phone - and it shows 6600mah battery size.
So either they send me a international one...or maybe there is some misunderstanding regarding nominal capacity & min capacity or something like that.
At least most photos look native and not upscaled unlike that 10x from X9 Ultra which looked 12MP at best but they claim its 50MP lol
Why do X100 Ultra photos still look better? (Especially macro and tele) Just open a new tab with X100 Ultra review and compare yourself. Photos and videos from X100 Ultra look way better (except night photos from UW)
As usual I don't find the GSMArena review respresentative of the experience of many other reviewers. There seems to be large variance between software versions, settings and testing. Oh well, I hope the phone will work well for me.
The photos are nice, but nothing special. I would expect much more for 2000€.
xslvrxslwt, 30 Apr 2026"We can't say we're entirely against it though." aaand this is where you j... morethey're a fan of near oversharpened "vivid" photos and have been for a long time, so did they lose credibility more than half a decade ago or is it only with AI, which is a toggleable thing?
maybe stay off twitter and meet some real people
That battery life is such a shame, they need to better optimize their phone vs S26 Ultra there's not much of a difference 🥲
I had a quick look, but wow.
As opposed to oppo x9ultra, no weird AI srtifacts, specially on ultrawide, where it gathers really nice detail, probably the best one.
Hi res suffers from lack of hdr, but detail wise its probably the top dog now.
With them going on a different focal length, it shows that once you move away from camera focal length to digital zoom, you cant expect too much, in this is any brand the same.
This made it clear tho, hi res hdr is not a gimmick, if you got only hi res without jdr, it just need more editing to look "juicy"...
I think, 23mm is better for most people. 35 mm is only for professional photographer.

Thanks for the great test pictures.
Please consider including test pictures of water (pond, river, sea, whatever..) which makes test scenarios even more complete!
Videos, 30 Apr 2026Why do videos look like they are upscaled from 720p?But vs3 vs1 vsx 32224 chips!!!!
Why do videos look like they are upscaled from 720p?
"We can't say we're entirely against it though." aaand this is where you just lost all the little credibility you had left. (-gsm)
glorifying ai slop cameras in this day and age.
both Find X 9 ultra and x300 ultra has same score... no way 🫤
youtube reviews of this phone are not as good as gsm review.
Anonymous, 30 Apr 2026Considering that Bill of materials would decrease at most $300 ( 6 series is no more than $50 ... morelook at the recent Moto G87 with 6400 which also can't support a 1.5K screen but Moto made it possible.. maybe it's an upscale or something, there's no reason the 6 Gen 4 can't either.
Still don't get why they removed the shutter button... After all it's the best camera phone ffs...
Every other cons can be forgiven, including the price as you can get it cheaper from China instead of global.. but the button... Well, keeping my x200 ultra for another year then.
