In my country, despite there being no tariffs on Chinese imports, their phones and cars cost just as much as Western ones.
If you go back 10 years, their prices was disruptive, but that's not true anymore.
It is funny that some people in this enthusiast forum still trying hard to defend slow rate charging and small battery. Do they still wanna use snapdragon 810 from a decade ago? No? Then it's fair that we also don't want to use the old battery tech from that same era!
It is good that many chinese brands are still innovating and still thriving in smartphone market. If everything is owned by western brand and their allies, the price will become much more expensive than what we're currently paying right now....

there's no use arguing with people who dont know or dont have the capacity to understand things, thank God these companies dont listen to "people" like you.

In less than an hour Poco f8 ultra, with 6500mAh battery, is getting full. Apple, Samsung they need more than an hour for batteries significantly smaller.

No, when it comes to the light of an object, it doesn't matter. A lens captures the same amount of light per exposure time from the moon, no matter which sensor size. A sensor can only capture the light that goes through the lens.

Sony dropped 4K because of its price, not to have longer endurance.
Custom 21:9 4K was too expensive. More than any other non-foldable screen.
Sacrifice done to balance the SoC that increases prices every year.
Any way. I'd rather have 4K 21:9 over than current panel, that has lower resolution than panel.on 10 mk6.
Weird that 10 years ago when samsung phones had barely more than 400 nits, nobody had issues to use outdoors, but suddenly ppl now can't use phones that have 1000-1200?
By the way, screen protectors decrease the visibility. 😉

Then drops to 18W until it's " full" ( because the 100% seen on screen is not 100% , at most 95).
Because this is how motorola and chinese brands do. None of them can reach the advertised, not even for 10 seconds.
i0S.- Never.- Again., 24 Apr 2026Only in Gsmarena comment section. I have yet to meet one of these in real life. real, i haven't seen one irl except for my mum back in the day with an Xperia SP.

Oh and i did not know about the free replacement thing, either that doesn't happen in my area or something. I specifically imported a snapdragon version btw, it's from africa or something, i didnt think i was gonna get any service for an imported phone.
Just not worth it. The build quality of the phone is amazing, i love holding it, the main reason i got it was cus of the design as im a huge Note fan.
Oh and the screen and cameras have lost their coating so i'd have had to get a new coating on them. And my back had some ugly spots on them. All in all, it was just a losing game.

Google, Apple and Samsung should be ashamed for shipping flagships with slow charging, as even budget Chinese phones have shipped with 120W fast charging (that too 5 years back).
Atleast Samsung was generous enough to bump up the charging speeds to 60W on their flagships.

vrvly, 24 Apr 20261 if you order global version and from EU warehouse, price is already 450euro up.
2 warranty... moreI always had to pay for shipping from that site.
But It wasn't more than €40 which is reasonable considering the equivalent global variants were around €400 more expensive.
It used to be the Chinese variant with global ROM installed on top of it, on the phones I bought in the past.
But these were Xiaomi phones back in the day, at a time where they freely allowed bootloader unlock.
Not sure what they offer now.
Sites like TradingSchenzen also used to install the much beloved EU ROM (based on China ROM) for a small fee of €15, so one need not bother with the bootloader unlocking process or custom ROM installation.
