once again, article glosses over ip65, and never fails to call out samsung (or any other phone that isnt 69k) "only" doing ip68.
why is this hunk of junk getting a 4.3??? 8/128 for 500 usd???????
it gets crushed in the vast majority of aspects by most "mid-high end", destroyed by the x8p, and if a tele is that important, the 25fe/base s25 sit right there (and give you samsung image and video processing!!) at the same price point, with far superior build quality. whats with the highway robbery??????

Check the performance charts on Wild Life benchmark between 4a, 4a Pro and Samsung A56 for example.
4a Pro Battery: 48% to 37%(-11%)
4a Pro Temperatures: 27C to 45C(+18)....
4a Battery: 74% to 68%(-6%)
4a Temperatures:21C to 35C(+14)
Samsung A56 Battery: 91% to 84%(-7%)
Samsung A56 Temperatures:26C to 34C(+8C)

Why aren't the Pixel 9a or 10a suggested as alternatives? They have better performance and better cameras, apart from no telephoto cameras.
This phone has a massive display with the fingerprint sensor at the very bottom of the display, speakers with no bass, downgraded cameras from the 3a series, ordinary shots from the primary camera, and poor videos. Granted, the selfies are awesome. I just don't see what this phone has to offer over the competition.

The Poco X8 Pro Max gets 4.3 stars, and this far inferior Nothing Phone gets the same number of stars?
The Nothing is half as fast, and the camera is much worse, too.
Nothing just can't seem to bring a flagship killer to market.

X8 Pro Max is better for a lot less money, if you don't care about cameras.

The competition is very stiff in the $600 range. I don't know how much these drop in price eventually, but it is a good phone. The sustained performance on that 7 Gen 4 is delicious.

I thought the telephoto was a downgrade compared to 3a Pro but the JN5 once again proving it's one of the best sensors there is.
