Anonymous, 15 Dec 2025You can link your Google pay to a curve account, works seemlessly I get it now, nfc payments is useless for me, I can even pay with qr code in the future and payments online - it supports.
so basically, almost no problem.

Lister, 17 Dec 2025Funnily enough, this comment has so many wrongs it's laughableActually it is correct though, Huawei has been the top selling brand in EU before the sanction and who push all the telephoto and low light camera revolution at that time? Of course, apple/samsung lobbying the gov aside, there is possibility true concern that CIA cannot hack into EU key persons phone anymore if they use Huawei instead of US controlled brands.

Huawei got banned because they got more popular than Apple and the U.S didn't want to lose their top position in the smartphone market to a Chinese company that made much better products for a cheaper price. So much for a so called "free market".
After the ban Huawei still makes top quality products, yes the chipset isn't the greatest but since they aren't allowed to work with any U.S companies it becomes significantly harder and their chips are amazing for a company that has to produce everything in China. I'm not a CCP bot or a shill, i genuinely think Huawei is still the best phone brand in terms of their innovation. Apple and Samsung release the same phone for 5 years yet get applauded on this forum and by other reviewers.
Also Huawei doesn't have the best camera's anymore but it's still miles ahead of Samsung and Apple. Only Vivo truly suprasses Huawei in camera quality.

Even apps can be sideloaded, so the biggest issue, the reason which makes me unavle to buy this beast is that it doesn't support google pay.

Many well read ho buyers have watched hundreds of videos showing iphone cameras are inferior to Vivo, Oppo & Huawei.

I reckon Apple does well because it does what none of these can do: ULTRAWIDE panoramas. NONE of them cater for the person who wants sweep panoramas with the ultrawide lens: essential to have for interiors and landscapes. The Pro Apple phones do panoramas with ALL lenses, but this lot can only manage on the main camera. So buying one is utterly pointless as even a secondhand $100 LG Think7 can do ultrawide pans , and that’s from 2018!
