No headphone jack, no good ip rating, and yes camera bumps. What's even the point.

Mircrosd, 19 Jun 2025Someone is forgetting Microsd fastest speeds "170MB/s. vs and UFS4.1 4300MB/s. This, and most card readers in budget and mid range phones will typically give you 13-46 MB/s speeds while UFS 4.0 is at ~4500mb/s.
One can have the best card in the world, but the card reader will in 99.99% of cases be the bottleneck.

I remember I had a 512gb card, and would transfer big movie folders over night before going abroad, only to wake up to connection had failed. I don't miss SD cards and I'm glad they're gone in most phones.

RedMagic, nubia and ZTE devices all use custom OLED panels from BOE which shows superior durability than Samsung's based on my experience with own RedMagic devices (7Pro,8SPro, and my now 10Pro).

Even my former Poco F3, F4GT had greenline issues before lol

Anonymous, 05 May 2025Indeed bro.Agree on this too. They're slowly improving now on software updates starting with the RedMagic series, hope it continuous through fast. The UDC in both 10Pro and 10Air showed excellent progress from the ones used in their 7 Series way back 2022, so we may expect it to be perfect around a 2-3 more iterations.

The chinese must really want more market share there so they might have used better quality temperature resistant oleds specially for india.

1989, 08 May 2025Neither does the 13r or poco. They arent using samsung patented green line tech.Too bad that Samsung doesn't really have that issue globally, only in India. Atleast that's where the majority of green line issues seem to come from. I guess they use inferior panels there to lower the prices or the weather and temperature is an issue.

GSMArena has confirmed with RedMagic that the Air series will be getting a guaranteed 3 years of OS updates. This is a big improvement from the one they had before.

Shameful 6,000mAh battery on a slim 7.85mm device? Meanwhile the ROG Phone 9 can only put 5,800mAh on such thick device lol

DroidBoye, 24 Apr 2025Nubia Z60 Ultra is a much better and balanced choice than this phone.Well they are completely in different category as the RM 10 Air cuts more corners hence the price.
The same thing comparing S25 Ultra and the vanilla s25. Even more here in europe where the vanilla S and Plus have Exynos in them

IpsDisplay, 24 Apr 20256000mah is very small for a gaming phone New standard should be 9000mah or 10000mah OneP... more9,000mAh is an insane ask (though maybe not if the phone is thick, like 9.5mm or thicker), but I can definitely see 8,000+mAh being a standard on gaming phones. Now only if they can assume the software to be efficient, they could get absolutely insane battery life.

BenjaEBC, 23 Apr 2025Why is everyone always so mad in the comments :(Most of them are Asus ROG fans probably. lol Well, RedMagic is now the number 1 gaming smartphone brand as per ZTE during MWC per sales volume globally so not a problem.

So they're now giving the RM10Air 3 years of software updates, here's hoping also that in the coming years, it will extend to 5 years and it will now be a super deadly brand. (though its already a killer brand at the moment for price to performance ratio)
