This is a dream phone for those who can't afford the Pro RedMagic models. Here in Asia it's just $499, and a very good price for a water resistant-clean styled RedMagic device.

This is the successor to their old 6R model, slim and elegant, but this time, they did it right with a large 6,000mah battery, Liquid metal cooling and even included most hardware from the 10Pro which includes their Redcore R3 fellas.

Its the budget line of RedMagic gaming phones tailored for gamers and those who wants to use a redmagic as more of a daily driver now with even better cameras. Isn't this the comments we've been reading on the Pro models?

Those who complain are free to buy the Pro models instead. This is for us budget oriented gamers. You won't find a complex Ice-X liked cooling on other flagships without active cooling. Checkout YT reviews of 10Air from RetroTechDad, TechTablets and FlossyCarter and see how well it performs even without the active fan.

Nubia Z60 Ultra is a much better and balanced choice than this phone.

I like how they pushed this out before Samsung and Apple. Who started this trend?

If the camera wasn't an oversaturated mess, it could have been a decent buy. But those photos just look completely off.

I honestly can't understand how a "gaming phone" can't have MicroSD Expansion and a Headphone Jack. Like wow. They're evolving backwards.

Rolly Ghiz, 23 Apr 2025I do commend them for this concept, cause it shows that they're following trends, for bet... moreAlthough they appear to be following a trend, at 7.9 mm thickness and weighing 205g, it's not exactly a thin or light phone. It's just thinner and lighter than the normal variants. Still, I think it's decent for someone after a more mainstream looking phone that is geared towards gaming.

6000mah is very small for a gaming phone

New standard should be 9000mah or 10000mah

                    OnePlus 13T is 6200 mah and 185g

Nubia you need to step up man

I do commend them for this concept, cause it shows that they're following trends, for better or for worse. However, it is important to note that at a staggering 205g, this phone has lost all it's purpose.
I don't see this phone as an option for wanting a "gaming compact mobile device" at that weight and size, even if it were less than 6mm.

Funny how GSMarena never bothered to point out the spikes in the CPU throttling test after some 20ish minutes. That is pretty bad for a gaming phone, as it would affect the gaming experience.

I don't see why anyone should be getting this over the 9S pro or the 9 pro, even if you're a diehard Redmagic fan

Lee, 23 Apr 2025We need a 20" phone. Closest you'll get is the 5G version of the galaxy tab S8/S9/S10 ultra sold in Europe and the UK. They have the phone and text function using the SIM card, so can make phone calls and send texts without having to have a paired Samsung phone. So essentially they're a 14.6" phone ๐Ÿ‘

                                        Like the clean, no-camera-island-nonsense design.

Rest of the phone is pretty unremarkable though.
