Samsung Android Rumors

Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold8 series and the Galaxy Z Flip8 at its Galaxy Unpacked event on July 22. Ahead of the launch, a new leak has revealed new details about the Galaxy Z Flip8’s weight and thickness.

According to tipster Ice Universe, the Galaxy Z Flip8 will weigh around 180 grams, making it 8 grams lighter than the Galaxy Z Flip7, which weighs 188 grams.

While the difference may seem minor on paper, the reduced weight could make the Galaxy Z Flip8 feel more comfortable to use.

The tipster also reiterated that the Galaxy Z Flip8 will measure 6.1mm when unfolded, although that figure excludes the rubber bumper around the inner display. Including the bumper, the phone is said to be 6.6mm thick, which is roughly in line with the Galaxy Z Flip7.

Previous leaks suggest that the Galaxy Z Flip8 will feature an improved hinge design and a less visible display crease. Apart from those changes, it is expected to retain much of its predecessor's hardware, including the cover display, battery capacity, and camera setup.

Again, prioritizing weight and thickness over battery capacity. They know they can't put bigger battery, so they only focusing on boasting about the weight and thickness. Damn you Samsung.
