Honor 600 series China launch date, design, and color options revealed
The Honor 600 and Honor 600 Pro were unveiled in global markets last month and are now set to debut in China. Honor has confirmed the launch date, design, color options, and storage configurations of both smartphones.
In a post on Weibo, the company confirmed that the Honor 600 series will launch in China on May 25. The smartphones are already available for pre-order in the country.
Honor 600 in Lucky Star color option
Honor has also revealed the design of the upcoming devices, although it has yet to disclose their full hardware specifications. One notable change is the redesigned rear camera module, which sets the Chinese variants apart from the global models.
While the global Honor 600 and Honor 600 Pro feature a rectangular camera island, the Chinese versions adopt a pill-shaped horizontal camera bar.
Honor 600 Pro in Light Feather Blue shade
The standard Honor 600 will sport a dual rear camera setup, while the Honor 600 Pro is confirmed to feature a triple-camera system headlined by a 200MP main sensor.
Meanwhile, the Chinese Honor 600 Pro will pack an 8,000mAh battery, compared to the 7,000mAh battery found in the global variant. As for the standard model, it will get a larger 8,600mAh cell.

As mentioned earlier, the phones have also been listed on Honor’s online store in China. The Honor 600 will be available in 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB variants and offered in Lucky Star, Obsidian Black, Light Feature Blue, and Green Apple colors.

On the other hand, the Honor 600 Pro will be sold in 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, and 16GB/512GB configurations. It will also be available in the same shades as the standard version.
The Lucky Star variant will have a unique pattern on the rear panel. Honor is likely to share more details about the phones in the days leading up to the launch.
Meanwhile, a tipster has shared hands-on images of the upcoming phones and revealed the chipsets powering the phones. As per the leak, the Honor 600 will be equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, whereas the Pro model will use a Dimensity 8550 Elite SoC.

Even better, they could've retained the Nokia Button camera island design in place of the Nokia Pill, or looked for different Wingtech designs that makes them at least a bit "original".
