At this point doesn't matter to much. Sony barely sell a few devices in their own country. The camera sensors or anything inside these phones are not the latest and greatest to be tested as they claim. Sony is not a specialist in apps or software either, so why badder produce these phones?! At least they should strive to make them available at least all over the "west", as soon as possible, not after 6 months from the launching event when tthey become irrelevant.

They are overpriced, mediocre flagship phones that are released late. That's why they sell very poorly. In my region, the market share of Sony phones is probably less than 1%.

I want xperia play, xperia walkman, xperia low end, xperia mid range, xperia highend, xperia ultra. And availability on day one. Not launching it and preorder it for it to come 3 months later

Given how much heat Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC can generate, Sony has no other way but to develop a new improved vapour chamber cooling and joins the silicon carbide battery bandwagon. I really can't see any other way from it.

This is managed by the most incompetent people around and it feels more and more like a money laundering unit than an actual phone making unit of a company. Ruining the reputation of the whole brand.

I'm duly impressed, but its about time I get a Sony phone in India. To replace my LG G8x.

I was finally able to order it on the official Sony website (Switzerland) since it is not available elsewhere. orchid purple. I hope to receive it at the end of the week. For the future, I hope to continue for years with the only Japanese mobile brand available. The 10 VII will be announced next month. But the big question is whether the next high-end next year will be released elsewhere than in Asia. I hope they will continue in Europe even if it is only through the official Sony website like this year. I like to have a different mobile phone, especially from a Japanese brand. Most of the time, I buy Panasonic. I have the Technics EAH-AZ100 headphones.
