By selling bigger screen than current 6.5" o... morescreen size is fine, and while camera improvements is fine, there is a reason why xperia doesnt have uber-flagship cameras. sony xperia seems to be obsessed with keeping their phones thin, even if a thicker phone would mean it could accommodate better cameras.
me personally? i dont care too much about software, but i like the features that xperia offers. would be nice if it had a IR blaster, since thats a feature that isn't completely extinct on flagships, as oneplus and xiaomi has IR blasters.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra is currently reduced to £1200 from £1300
S25 Ultra starts at £1249
Oppo Find X8 Pro £1049 rrp
Vivo 200 Pro can be found for around £980 or possibly less.
As I said, I've got the Xperia 1 VI and had their 2 previous flagships, so I'm hardly anti-Sony. It just looks like poor value for money for what they're trying to sell when the competition is so good.

The OS pretty good agree, without Google services less usable outside China, and no, installing Gbox not solve all the issues and for example Google books don't work, and some other usefull stuff...

Tiama aint lame and have Motorola edge 40 pro which dont uses Taima.
Anyway XCiaomi 15 Ultra fior example cost half the price in china of your desirable not so lame by you flagship and is billion times better just an example.
Within EU its cost from 1150euros still less than your Sony, or S25 or Google pixel or whathewer joke like phone with flagship price but not so flagship specs you use and is way better than whathewer of yours and Xiaomi 15 ultra is china only made.
Many else phones are china only and are exceptional devices unlike that toy you loves to call a phone. Just sayin.

10 vii should be upper midrange like edge 60 pro.
But it is just a 10 vi + 6g4 + 120Hz .
I have no idea why only october announcement.
Also , 1 vii should have had 5500mAh + 1/2.3" 70-200 periscope

Sony is putting a high price tag to screw over their diehard fans, obviously. But even if the price drops to the same level as S25+, still no one will buy it. Says a lot about the importance of sd slot and headphone jack
