The Moto G Stylus (2026) features a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with 1,220 x 2,712 pixels (444ppi), 10-bit color depth, and 120Hz refresh rate.
The screen has a sheet of Gorilla Glass 3 for protection.
Motorola hasn't shared any brightness specs except for peak brightness, now up to 5,000 nits.
We've taken the usual display measurements. We captured 492nits of maximum brightness in manual mode, 1,453 nits in automatic, and 1,892 nits on 10% white patch for peak brightness.
Oddly, while those are some solid brightness numbers, they are slightly below what the previous model offered.
Refresh rate
The Motorola Moto G Stylus (2026) screen supports up to 120Hz refresh rate. There are three options - Smart and Balanced (Auto), Hyper Smooth (120Hz in most cases), and Efficiency first (locked at 60Hz).
Smart and Balanced uses 90Hz for most apps (including web browsers) and the Android UI, and 120Hz for UI transitions (i.e. app closing) and benchmarks. Naturally, 60Hz is used for idle screen.
Hyper Smooth forces 120Hz where supported and dials down to 60Hz for when idling.
Finally, Efficiency first locks the screen at 60Hz.
HDR
The Motorola Moto G Stylus (2026) screen does not support HDR video.
The Motorola Moto G Stylus (2026) is powered by a 5,200mAh battery, 200mAh more than the cell inside the 2025 model. This year, along with the newer Android version brought a better result.
The new G Stylus scored an Active Use Score of 12:10h. It did great on the call, video streaming, and the web browsing scenarios, but the game time turned out average.
The Motorola Moto G Stylus (2026) supports 68W TurboCharge wired charging and up to 15W wireless charging. The phone ships without a charger in the retail box.
We've completed our battery charging test with Motorola's own 68W brick. We also used the Charge Boost option.
The battery went from 1% to 41% in 15 mins, we got 70% of charge on the 30 min mark, and the full charge took exactly 50 mins. That's a bit slower than the previous model (with a slightly smaller battery), but quite fast, nevertheless.
In terms of battery protection features, you can have the phone limit its charging to 80%. You can also allow it to occasionally charge to 100% if you want - either on a fixed schedule, or you can let AI learn your usage patterns and adjust top-offs automatically.
The Motorola Moto G Stylus (2026) has a hybrid stereo speaker setup with a bottom-firing proper speaker and an earpiece that's pulling a double duty.
The speakers scored an Excellent mark on our loudness test. The sound quality is average, though - the high frequencies are rich and well presented, the vocals are okay, but there is zero thump and hence the rather flat audio.
Use the Playback controls to listen to the phone sample recordings (best use headphones). We measure the average loudness of the speakers in LUFS. A lower absolute value means a louder sound. A look at the frequency response chart will tell you how far off the ideal "0db" flat line is the reproduction of the bass, treble, and mid frequencies. You can add more phones to compare how they differ. The scores and ratings are not comparable with our older loudspeaker test. Learn more about how we test here.
