Same camera system, same Snapdragon 6 gen 3 processor which is a step up from my 2024 Snapdragon 6 gen 1 processor, same 8 GB of RAM 128 GB memory everything is identical besides they say the 25 has 3,000 that's of brightness and the 26th has 5,000 minutes they both as far as screenwise goes or identical 444 PPI on both phones screens. Both phone screens being AMOLED both having HDR, 1B colors absolutely identical so glad cuz I figured they'd update this one for 2026 but nope it's identical.
Radio, Stylus Pen,SD card slot, 3.5mm Jack, and a Notification LED with 7 colors atleast must make mandatory
It does not have FM support because it does not have 3.5mm jack. Please double check on official motorola site. It says there audio jack USB type c
AntiPlannedObsolesce, 20 Apr 2026Just use online radioAre you paying for my unlimited data plan?
Also, in case of emergency/power outage everything depending on Internet/streaming is down as well. A FM tower powered by an emergency generator keeps broadcasting.
Your solution?
AntiPlannedObsolesce, 20 Apr 2026Just use online radioThe whole point of radio reception is to be able to listen to broadcasts just by tuning an antenna to FM/AM/SW waves, without having to pay for a private service like an Internet service provider's network, either a public or private one. In that case, you're better off connecting a software-defined radio add-on via microUSB OTG, since you can also listen to “online radio” and watch Youtube or whatever on a tablet and laptop.
ANY modern smartphone can and should be able to not only handle FM reception (given that a mobile phone has to work with radio reception on a particular frequency and channel to make and receive calls), and it needs to have a headphone jack to work as an antenna, but these suspiciously forced planned-obsolescence trends in the smartphone “market” falsely want to give the impression that this is all just technological progress making room for who-knows-what, instead of shrinkflation or lockstep globalist fascism dictating what a mass-surveillance pocket device ought to have and lack.
I miss smartphones from 2014, back when they felt more like this technology was meant to serve mankind and not enslave it, and back when cell phones being just cell phones was not something considered so old-fashioned by today's buying mentality in the public.
Will Motorola finally bring a Moto G stylus phone to Europe?

And again no FM-radio. Did Qualcomm remove the radio on the SoC level in the SD6 Gen3 or is Lenovo since last year too cheap to actually add the 3.5mm jack antenna wiring and enable the radio in the firmware?
vkcpolice, 08 Apr 2026This is the absolute best phone on the market with micro SD card support and a aux jack stylus... moreExactly. Newer screen, updated stylus, 3.5mm headphone jack, in 2026. I get it; the 20025 version is aesthetically similarly, and in some ways is power-wise the same. And if you have that one, you shoudn't upgrade (the yearly upgrading is a bad idea, anyway), but if you've not upgraded in 3 or more years, this one might be a good deal. Especially if you get it from the moto site, as they're offering the phones with add'l gifts.
Hanny2000, 12 Apr 2026Those things won't be gone if there are still new budget phones.Probably forgot Sony my friend, not budget but with all the features.
I had really high hopes that they would have put the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 in this phone. Its a real shame that they went with the same chip as last year. The gen 4 would've been an instant buy for me.
Tick all the boxes. Price is a little stip but compared to the available options, is ok.

Anonymous, 09 Apr 2026Not coming to Europe?Nearly all of the Moto Stylus range was restricted to the US only, I'd be rocking one if they released them in the UK. I ended up with the Moto G56, which is okay, but I would have preferred the Moto G Stylus 5G (2025). Here's hoping that Motorola see fit to launch this one globally.
Wow. I was actually interested in this phone too, no idea why. Disappointing release 👎
Same SoC, same charging speed, same ancient Gorilla Glass 3 protection, everything's pretty much identical to its predacessor. The colors looked better on the 2025 ver too
It does support UFS 3.1 memory though, that's nice. Last year's G stylus only supported UFS 2.2. It also has a 5200mah battery but that's a tiny improvement
Eddisson, 11 Apr 2026Wait! Stylus, sd slot, headphone jack? I was told by commenters here that those things are dead. Those things won't be gone if there are still new budget phones.
W release. 8 gb, stylus, sd 6 gen 3, sd card slot, headphone jack, all priced in an entry-level package of ~$250 (according to past g stylus prices) That MIGHT be a worthy infinix note 50 competitor…
Eddisson, 11 Apr 2026Wait! Stylus, sd slot, headphone jack? I was told by commenters here that those things are dead. Stylus, didecated sd slot, headphone jack, all my favourite
