Samsung’s next Galaxy S series flagship lineup, expected to launch early next year, has already started appearing in several leaks. A new report has now revealed the battery capacities of some Galaxy S27 series models.
According to GalaxyClub, the same source that previously leaked the Galaxy S27 camera details, the battery capacities of the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra have now been uncovered. As per the report, the Galaxy S27 Pro may feature a rated battery capacity of 5,087, which will most likely be marketed as a 5,200mAh battery.
The Galaxy S27 Ultra, on the other hand, is expected to feature a rated battery capacity of 5,534mAh, which will likely be advertised as a 5,700mAh battery. If true, this would be a significant upgrade over the Galaxy S26 Ultra, which comes with a 5,000mAh battery.
The report has also been backed by well-known tipster UniverseIce, adding more credibility to the leak. That said, these details are still based on early information and should be taken with a pinch of salt. Samsung could still be testing different battery configurations before the final hardware is locked in.
The source also mentioned that the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra may use silicon-carbon batteries. As of now, the battery details of the other two models, the Galaxy S27 and the Galaxy S27+, are not known.
