Product Overview

The TX2 is a simple-to-use high-precision GNSS device built around Quectel's quadband LG290P module, capable of 8mm accuracy when receiving RTK corrections. This reciever is protected inside a robust, waterproof housing with a compact internal helical GNSS antenna and an enclosed battery that lasts over 50 hours. 

Packed with modern features:

  • Capable of L1/L2/L5/E6 reception with Galileo HAS support. 

  • Contains the Apple authentication coprocessor for MFi compatibility.

  • Can connect to any modern cell phone or tablet over Bluetooth.

  • Uses WiFi to connect to corrections networks (NTRIP Client built-in) and to distribute location data over TCP.

  • Affordable and competitive price point when compared to similar devices.

Ready to work rain or shine, the TX2’s aluminum housing is waterproof to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes when the USB cover is closed (IP67).

Open source.

The TX2 runs open-source software, meaning you can fully obtain, see, and even modify the functionality of the device. This allows for easier feature expansion, bug maintenance, and longer device longevity.

Works with any corrections network.

If needed, SparkPNT offers PointPerfect for $15/month. The PointPerfect Flex network is highly accurate, cost effective, and works with a wide variety of GNSS receivers.
