Here is your one-stop shop to get information on NWSLC T Level courses.
T Levels are your new choice after you complete your GCSEs. They are a two year, Level 3 programme equivalent to studying three A Levels.
They have been designed with employers to provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to be successful within that industry.
T levels provide you with the opportunity to experience the world of work whilst you learn. You will take part in an industry placement with an employer for a minimum of 315 hours over two years.
If you would prefer to complete a course that combines academic work with practical workplace training a T Level could be for you. A T Level will enable you to be able to develop your skills within the workplace alongside classroom learning with industry-experienced staff.
We are now offering T Levels in the following areas:
Requirement grades will depend on the subject and course that you choose. Most T Level courses will require you to have a grade 4 or above in 4 GCSE subjects including English and maths.
These will be varying internal and external assessments including exams and portfolio work. The technical qualification is assessed over time throughout the period of the T Level. It will vary depending on the course and subject that you choose.
The purpose of the T Level is to prepare students going into skilled employment or allow students to move onto a higher apprenticeship or Higher Education.
