Xiaomi 18 Pro Max

Xiaomi 18 Pro Max stretches the Pro recipe into a larger 163.4 x 77.6 x 8.4 mm frame that weighs 235 g or 240 g, pairing Dragon Crystal Glass 3 on the front with an aluminum chassis and IP68 protection rated for dust and immersion up to 6 m for 30 minutes. It sits above last year’s Xiaomi 17 Pro Max as Xiaomi’s big-screen flagship for 2026, and a 2.9-inch rear secondary LTPO panel handles glanceable info without turning the phone over.

Black, White, Pink, Red (Transparent Editions), and Blue keep the same five colorways as the smaller Pro. An ultrasonic under-display fingerprint reader, Ultra Wideband, infrared, 50W wireless charging, and 27W reverse wireless charging cover the everyday extras on this September 23 launch.

Xiaomi 18 Pro Max Key Specs

Up front, the Pro Max uses a 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED with 68 billion colors, 2160Hz PWM, 120Hz refresh, Dolby Vision, HDR Vivid, HDR10+, and BT.2020, peaking at 4000 nits. Resolution lands at 1208 x 2624 pixels, about 418 ppi, with a ~91.6% screen-to-body ratio.

A 2.9-inch rear secondary LTPO AMOLED at 596 x 976 pixels mirrors the same 120Hz, Dolby Vision, HDR Vivid, HDR10+, BT.2020, and 4000-nit peak ratings for the back panel.

Inside is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 on a 2 nm process, with an octa-core CPU up to 5 GHz and an Adreno GPU. The phone ships on Android 17 with HyperOS 4.

Memory configs match the Pro: 12GB or 16GB of RAM on UFS 4.1, sold as 256GB/12GB, 512GB/12GB, 512GB/16GB, and 1TB/16GB. There is no microSD expansion, so pick the storage you need at purchase.

Photo hardware mirrors the 18 Pro’s Leica triple: a 200MP f/1.7 23mm wide (1/1.28-inch, 0.61µm, dual-pixel PDAF, OIS), a 200MP f/2.4 75mm periscope telephoto (1/1.56-inch, PDAF 10 cm to infinity, OIS, 3.2x optical zoom), and a 50MP f/2.4 17mm 102-degree ultrawide (1/2.88-inch, 0.61µm, PDAF). Laser AF, a color spectrum sensor, dual-LED dual-tone flash, HDR, and panorama round out the rear, while the front 50MP f/2.2 21mm wide adds PDAF, HDR, and panorama.

Video on the rear camera tops out at 8K at 30fps with HDR, with 4K available at 30, 60, or 120fps including HDR10+, 10-bit Dolby Vision, and 10-bit LOG, plus 1080p through 960fps, 720p at 1920fps, and gyro-EIS. Flip to the 50MP selfie shooter for 4K at 30 or 60fps and 1080p at 30 or 60fps with HDR10+ and gyro-EIS.

Transparent Edition

The Pro Max carries a non-removable silicon-carbon 8,500mAh battery with 100W wired charging (PD3.0, QC3+, 100W PPS). Wireless charging is listed at 50W, with 27W reverse wireless for topping up accessories.

Xiaomi 18 Pro Max Price in Nigeria

The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max goes for about 1,394,600 Naira (1,053 USD). That is the Max-tier price tag in this stack, prices will vary slightly depending on the RAM and storage capacity.

Shoppers comparing another big-screen Find flagship can look at the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max. Motorola’s Signature 27 is the other premium Android contender in this band, and the Oppo Find X8 Ultra remains a solid Ultra-class alternate if you want Oppo’s earlier camera stack.
