Tecno’s Slim smartphone lineup has expanded across three of its major series, buyers now have to choose between the camera-focused Camon Slim, the mainstream Spark Slim, and the performance-oriented Pova Slim.
While all three devices share a nearly identical design language, slim profile, and high-resolution 6.78-inch display, they target different types of users. The newly announced Tecno Camon Slim arrives as the latest addition and introduces some notable refinements over its siblings.

One of the biggest distinctions in design is the rear lighting system. The Tecno Spark Slim and Pova Slim uses rear LED lighting primarily for notifications and status alerts, while the Tecno Camon Slim takes things further with a 354-dot programmable Mini-LED matrix that can display dynamic visual effects alongside notifications.
The Camon Slim also offers improved durability with IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance, MIL-STD-810H certification, Android 16 out of the box, and a newer Helio G200 Ultimate chipset. It further upgrades battery capacity to 5600mAh with 60W fast charging, surpassing the 5160mAh battery and 45W charging found on both the Spark Slim and Pova Slim.
Performance is another area where the three devices begin to separate. The Camon Slim and Spark Slim both rely on 4G chipsets from the Helio G200 family, making them suitable for users who do not require 5G connectivity.
The Pova Slim stands out as the only model equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset and full 5G support. Storage options also differ slightly, with the Spark Slim available only in a 256GB variant, while the Camon Slim and Pova Slim are offered in both 128GB and 256GB configurations.
Camera hardware follows a similar pattern. The Camon Slim and Spark Slim both feature a single 50MP rear camera, although the Camon Slim provides more detailed camera specifications, including a larger 1/1.95-inch sensor and f/1.8 aperture.
The Spark Slim offers more clearly defined video capabilities with support for up to 1440p recording. Meanwhile, the Pova Slim is the only model equipped with a dual-camera setup, pairing its 50MP main sensor with a secondary 2MP sensor for additional shooting functionality.
Choosing between the three ultimately depends on priorities. The Camon Slim is positioned as the most feature-rich Slim model, combining the programmable Mini-LED matrix, improved durability, larger battery, faster charging, and newer software platform.
The Spark Slim remains the simpler and more affordable interpretation of the Slim concept, while the Pova Slim caters to users who want 5G connectivity and a dual-camera system.
