The Redmi K70 Ultra Championship Edition has been designed in collaboration with Lamborghini. It is expected to come in two color options: green and the signature Lamborghini yellow. The design draws inspiration from the Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2, a car specifically built for the Lamborghini Super Trofeo racing series.
The Redmi K70 series that was initially introduced in late November 2023 is about to get even bigger. The series’ ultimate member, the Redmi K70 Ultra, is set to be unveiled tomorrow, July 19. Alongside this, Xiaomi has announced a special edition variant.
The phone’s design mirrors the angular and carbon fiber aesthetics of the car. Officially named Automobili Lamborghini Squadra Corse, it will be referred to simply as the Championship Edition.
Xiaomi has already shared some details about the standard Redmi K70 Ultra. It will feature a Dimensity 9300+ chipset with a 3D heat dissipation system. The 120Hz display offers DC dimming down to 60 nits and switches to 3,840Hz PWM dimming below that. It will have a 1220p+ resolution and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
Reflecting on November 2023, Xiaomi previously teamed up with Lamborghini for a special edition of the Redmi K70 Pro, styled after the Essenza SCV12 track-only hypercar.
The full details of both the Redmi K70 Ultra and the K70 Ultra Championship Edition will be revealed tomorrow. Based on previous releases, there may be a delay before the Lamborghini-inspired model becomes available.
As for international availability, the K70 Ultra might be seen outside China. The regular K70 bears similarities to the Poco F6 Pro, and there are rumors that the K70 Ultra could be marketed internationally as the Xiaomi 14T Pro, similar to how the 13T Pro was based on the K60 Ultra.
