How to Set Up the One Tap AI Button on Infinix Hot 60 and Hot 60 Pro+

The new Infinix Hot 60 series brings a fresh wave of utility to its design with the introduction of a dedicated One Tap AI button – a small addition with notable functionalities.

While the Infinix Hot 60i sits out on this new feature, the Hot 60 5G, Hot 60 Pro, and Hot 60 Pro+ are all equipped with the customizable button on their side frames.

Among the trio, the Hot 60 Pro+ stands out as the premium-tier unit but with major difference in physical design. Dubbed “Paper-thin elegance,” it measures just 5.95mm thick, making it arguably the slimmest Infinix device yet.

It’s also remarkably light, weighing just 155 grams – hence the “light as a breeze” tagline. Meanwhile, the Hot 60 and Hot 60 Pro share a more familiar form with their dual-tone color finish, but still got the One Tap button feature.

Here’s how to customize the One Tap AI button:

  1. Go to your phone’s Settings and tap on One-Tap Button.
  2. On the One-Tap Button settings screen, you’ll see customization options for both Long Press and Double Press.

By default, Long Press launches the Folax AI assistant, but this can be reassigned to anything else you prefer – maybe an app you use frequently or a feature you access daily.

The Double Press functionality is even more flexible. You can assign it to open any app on your phone;

Or simply use it to toggle the flashlight, start screen or voice recording, switch to mute mode;

The One Tap button can also launch a specific function inside supported apps. Some apps like YouTube, Snapchat, Chrome, Calendar, Clock, and File Manager support deep links with the One Tap shortcut button.

That means instead of just opening the app, you can assign the double press to jump directly to a particular section. For example; In YouTube, go straight to Shorts, Subscriptions, or Search.

While In Snapchat, you can directly open Stories, Map, Chat, or Spotlight.

One-tap AI buttons aren’t exactly new in the smartphone world — we’ve seen them come and go over the years. But it’s refreshing to see resurface again and this time with more purpose.

It’s no longer just about launching an app quickly, it also doubles as a productivity with deeper, customizable controls that actually make things smoother.

What do you think about the new One Tap AI button on the Hot 60 series? Is it a feature you’ll actively use or something you’d ignore? Drop your thoughts in the comments, and don’t forget to share this article if you found it helpful.
