Google Pixel 9a builds on the success of last year’s Pixel 9 series with a refined design and upgraded features, it retains Google’s signature clean aesthetic with an aluminum frame and a plastic back.
The Pixel 9a is IP68-rated, making it fully dust-tight and resistant to water immersion up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. Its Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and always-on display enhance usability and durability and available in Obsidian, Porcelain, Iris, and Peony colors.
Beyond design, the Pixel 9a introduces thoughtful enhancements like an on-screen optical fingerprint sensor and a built-in barometer for better environmental tracking. Google’s new “Circle to Search” feature simplifies information retrieval with a simple gesture.
The phone also supports 7.5W wireless charging and includes bypass charging, which allows direct power to the device while preserving battery health through the “Limit to 80%” option. With these features, the Pixel 9a refines the mid-range experience while keeping Google’s signature software advantages intact.
