ULI New Mexico is a District Council of the Urban Land Institute, a 501©(3) nonprofit research and education organization supported by its members. Founded in 1936, ULI has almost 40,000 members worldwide, representing the entire spectrum of land use and real estate development disciplines working in private enterprise and public service. A multidisciplinary real estate forum, ULI facilitates an open exchange of ideas, information, and experience among industry leaders and policymakers dedicated to creating better places.

  • Join ULI New Mexico this Thursday March 5th for a behind-the-scenes look and tour of the $73 million Film & Media Training Center at the historic Albuquerque Rail Yards. Led by Central New Mexico Community College in partnership with the City of Albuquerque and the State of New Mexico Economic Development Department, the project transforms the century-old Boiler Shop into a state-of-the-art workforce hub supporting New Mexico’s growing film and digital media industry.   Tour highlights include adaptive reuse strategies, preservation of the building’s historic steel structure, and integration of advanced production spaces soundstages, post-production labs, and immersive media environments. This project showcases how catalytic reinvestment in legacy infrastructure can drive workforce development, economic growth, and continued revitalization of Albuquerque’s urban core.   Thanks to our event partner SMPC architects.
