Garcia’s, a true staple of Fort Worth’s Historic Northside. Moderated by Isaac Manning Sr., the conversation featured Mike Berry and Ian Kinne of Hillwood, who shared the story behind AllianceTexas, their innovative spirit, and the experiences that continue to drive their careers and leadership in North Texas development. An event filled with meaningful conversations, mentorship, and insights on visionary growth in Fort Worth. What an exciting start to YLX Fort Worth on May 15! The day began at the SpringHill Suites in the Historic Stockyards with a panel featuring Paul Paine, Fernando Costa, and Danaydae "Dee" Lara. The conversation explored the history of the Stockyards, future development plans, and the implications for the Historic Northside community. Panelists also discussed how the Urban Land Institute’s Advisory Services study has supported their current projects and future endeavors. Following the panel, participants explored the heart of the Fort Worth Stockyards, including Mule Alley, Hotel Drover, and the iconic cattle drive experience. The group then continued their journey aboard Trinity Metro’s Orange Line, connecting to their next destination while experiencing Fort Worth’s growing transit network firsthand.
