This program, in partnership with The Ohio State University, focuses on novel software solutions to pressing global issues experienced by every world citizen. Backed by the innovation resources of a top research university, we’re looking for founders building technology that can become critical infrastructure for our ability to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives and to leave a better world for the next generation to inherit. Some themes of particular interest are: health care accessibility, mainstreaming mental health care, financial security products, “social” media focused on IRL connectedness, and solutions for us to affordably reduce our carbon footprints.

A lot has gone into Avionova this year... late nights (writing this at 3 am), difficult decisions, and months of patient iteration. What stuck with me most was learning to trust the work before the world could see it. I’m still in shock that the effort my team and I poured into this company led to a Forbes Middle East cover and a feature of Avionova at such an early stage. I’m deeply grateful for the belief and support from Tim Grace , Managing Director at Techstars Columbus Powered by The Ohio State University, and John Warner, MD , CEO of The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center support that showed up long before moments like this.
