🚀 PyAEDT 1.0 is here 🐍 After 6 years of relentless development, countless iterations, and an incredible community effort, we are thrilled to announce the release of PyAEDT 1.0, the open-source Python library that brings the full power of the Ansys Electronics Desktop (AEDT) to your fingertips. What does 1.0 mean? ✅ A stable, production-ready API . ✅ Full support for HFSS, Maxwell, Icepak, Q3D, Circuit, EDB/HFSS 3D Layout, EMIT and more. ✅ A consistent, well-documented interface built with the open-source community in mind ✅ Deep integration with the broader PyAnsys ecosystem ✅ Hundreds of examples, tutorials, and a growing extension framework. This journey started with a simple idea: what if engineers could control AEDT the same way they write any Python script? What followed was a massive community effort: bug reports, feature requests, pull requests, documentation improvements, and real-world usage feedback from engineers all around the globe 🌍. Every single issue filed, every question asked, every line of code contributed made PyAEDT better. A huge THANK YOU to the 100+ contributors who have shaped this project, from the very first commits to the final push for 1.0. You are the real authors of this milestone. 1.0 is a foundation, not a finish line. Reaching 1.0 does not mean we are slowing down, quite the opposite. This milestone gives us a stable base to build even bigger things. The roadmap ahead is packed: ✅ New extensions and automation workflows. ✅ Deeper AI/ML integration. ✅ Enhanced interoperability with other PyAnsys libraries ✅ A growing ecosystem of community-contributed tools ✅ More solver coverage and simulation use cases The best of PyAEDT is still ahead of us 😉 #PyAEDT #PyAnsys #Synopsys #Ansys #Python #Simulation #AEDT #EDA
