Transform Your Operations with Data-Driven and Simulation-Based Digital Twin Software

About us

Build, Validate and Deploy Simulation-Based Digital Twins An analytics-driven, simulation-based digital twin is a connected, virtual replica of an in-service physical asset — in the form of an integrated multidomain system simulation —that mirrors the life and experience of the asset. Hybrid digital twins enable system design and optimization and predictive maintenance, and they optimize industrial asset management. By implementing Ansys Twin Builder, you can improve top-line revenue, manage bottom-line costs and both gain and retain a competitive advantage. Follow us and learn how we can help your organization.

  • 🔥All‑Inclusive Co‑Simulation FMU: We now support time‑step parameters and transient solver options directly inside the FMU. What that means for users is greater flexibility: they can fine‑tune simulation behavior when running the FMU in third‑party tools without needing to regenerate or recompile it. This makes the FMU far more portable, adaptable, and efficient for cross‑tool workflows. We’ve also simplified the licensing experience. When the FMU runs inside Twin Builder or TwinAI, no additional runtime license is checked out. And when customers run the FMU in external environments, the system will seamlessly use a Twin Builder solver license as a fallback if a TwinAI runtime license isn’t available. This ensures simulations keep running smoothly, without interruptions or unexpected licensing roadblocks. Together, these improvements significantly enhance portability, control, and usability—helping teams deploy and validate co‑simulation models more easily across their entire ecosystem. • 🔥We're excited to introduce a major enhancement to our AI‑based modeling capabilities: the new Temporal Fusion Transformer, or TFT, now available within Fusion. This method represents a significant step forward in how we handle time‑series modeling. Unlike traditional approaches, TFT takes into account both past and future time‑steps during training, which allows it to better capture complex temporal patterns. We’ve also added a Multilayer Perceptron option for scalar cases, giving users a lightweight alternative when the problem doesn’t require a deep temporal model. One of the biggest advantages of TFT is its ability to efficiently handle large datasets—specifically those with more than a thousand training points—making it an excellent complement to our existing Gaussian Process models. To streamline the workflow, you’ll now find a dedicated ‘Evaluate’ tab, along with a script that lets you run the exported pickle file outside of TwinAI. This gives teams more flexibility when integrating results into external pipelines.
