Questions Matter

Questions Matter

Ready for a fresh start?

Are you in a place in your life where you are looking for a fresh start?

For many of us, we start thinking about our lives as we get closer to the end of the year. Its November, we are close!

Sometimes, its feeling stuck, stale and stagnate.

Other times, we are forced into change and find ourselves frozen in fear

No matter what your reason is, the first step forward is asking yourself important questions.

It’s not about judgment or blame, it’s about truth. If you’re not honest with yourself, you’re simply delaying the healing.

Go old school: grab a pen and paper. Write it out. When you hear yourself say, “I don’t know,” pause. That phrase often masks fear. Deep down, you may know the answer but it’s scary, uncomfortable, or painful. Keep returning to the question until your answer shifts. That’s where growth begins.

If you find yourself saying “maybe,” ask: Is this really a possibility or am I afraid to say no? People-pleasers especially struggle here. “Maybe” can be a soft cushion for discomfort, but clarity lives in truth.

This process isn’t about perfection, it’s about progress. Self-reflection is a practice. Be kind, be patient, and take it one question at a time.

Why Questions Matter

They spark self-awareness

They reveal hidden truths and “aha” moments

They cultivate hope and clarity

They motivate and empower action

They help you declutter your emotional space

They guide you toward meaningful goals and next steps

Let’s begin with intention by turning inward and reflecting honestly. Action starts here.

Each week, I will ask different questions to help start the process. Get yourself a journal and let's begin.

I totally agree! Asking ourselves questions also allows self reflection and introspection. It gives the opportunity to check in .
