The Client Chronicles: Alignment - the missing piece of leadership performance. One of our clients recently rolled out the CheckPoint 360°™ Leadership Assessment across their management team — a robust tool that gathers perspectives from bosses, peers, and direct reports to give a full-circle view of leadership effectiveness. On paper, their managers were competent. But the data told a deeper story: only 44% alignment between managers and their bosses on what skills were actually critical for success. That gap explained a lot — inconsistent communication, unclear expectations, and duplicated effort. Everyone was working hard… just not always in the same direction. Through the CheckPoint 360°, we discovered which leadership competencies needed attention — from delegation and communication to building trust and developing others. Once coaching plans were put in place, let us just say, it is a data driven initiative that is well worth the time. We shall see how the next six months pan out. Leadership isn’t just about doing the right things — it’s about agreeing on what the right things are. Need a 360 Assessment set up for your leadership team? Reach out and let us see how we can help. #ClientChronicles #LeadershipDevelopment #ProfilesInternationalEA #CheckPoint360 #MouldACulture Maria Simiyu Mary M'Mukindia, MBS Dr. Susan Murage

Two-thirds of managers never get real leadership training. The other third probably learned the hard way (guilty 🙋♀️). After years of leading teams, making mistakes, and figuring it out the long way, here are a few things I wish someone had told me sooner: ✅ Hold fewer meetings, ask better questions. ✅ Don’t confuse busy with effective. ✅ Praise publicly, redirect privately. ✅ If you don’t make the goal clear, you’ll end up frustrated (and so will they). ✅ Your team will match your pace, so check yours first. ✅ Build systems that support your sanity, not strangle it. ✅ Delegation is not dumping. ✅ “I don’t know” counts as leadership too. ✅ Culture starts in your 1:1s, not at the all-hands. ✅ A good scoreboard makes feedback easier and less awkward. I learned all of this the messy way, which is why I care so much about giving leaders a playbook that saves them from some of that chaos. We’ll be diving into all of it in the five-part leadership workshop series with System & Soul. It starts next week! and it’s built for anyone who wants to lead with more clarity, alignment, and confidence. Link’s in the comments if you want to grab your spot. #LeadershipDevelopment #SmallBusiness #SystemAndSoul #TeamAlignment #GrowthMindset #BusinessLeadership #Founders

Love this SCORE paradigm. If you don’t define it, they won’t do it. I’ve learned (sometimes the hard way) that communication is everything. When I’ve failed as a leader — and it happens often — it’s rarely because of intent or effort. It’s almost always because I wasn’t clear in what I was asking for or why it mattered. This article (link in comments) nails it: most managers never receive formal leadership training, and the impact ripples across teams and organizations. The SCORE framework — Staffing, Cultivating culture, Organizing & planning, Reinforcing behavior, and Engaging the organization — is a great reminder that leadership isn’t just about having answers, it’s about creating clarity. Leader burnout doesn’t come from working too hard — it comes from too much confusion. Define it. Communicate it. Reinforce it. Then get out of the way. #makinglivesbetter #LeadershipLessons #ClearCommunication

Here’s something most leaders don’t realize: Profitability isn’t just about financial strategy, it’s about human strategy. Your culture, communication, and clarity determine how far your numbers can go. When leaders fail to connect, employees disengage. When employees disengage, productivity falls. When productivity falls… profit disappears. The fix? Awareness + action. The Leadership Profit Risk Checklist helps you identify leadership behaviors that drive or damage ROI and gives you a framework to correct them. 💡 It’s not a gimmick, it’s the same framework used in executive coaching sessions with top-performing teams. 👉 Register here to get your copy: https://lnkd.in/eJNTCH_p 📲 Or scan the QR code to access the checklist instantly. #LeadershipDevelopment #SmartLeaders #ProfitStrategy #BNXDojo #LeadershipROI

Clarity: The Most Undervalued Leadership Skill Most organizational problems are not caused by lack of talent… They are caused by lack of clarity. When expectations are unclear, when roles are vague, when goals are unspoken, when policies are inconsistently applied— confusion becomes culture. And confusion always invites conflict. Leaders often underestimate how much clarity matters: Clarity reduces resistance. Clarity increases alignment. Clarity accelerates performance. Clarity strengthens trust. The truth is simple: People cannot meet expectations that leadership has not defined. Clarity is not micromanagement — it is leadership stewardship. Because organizations function at the level of communication leadership provides. — Anita Whitby-Davis, CPM Israel Assistant & Staffing LLC #LeadershipClarity #OrganizationalAlignment #CommunicationStrategy #ExecutiveLeadership #Governance #Compliance #IsraelAssistantAndStaffing

When budgets tighten, most companies cut training. Smart ones don’t. They reallocate it to what protects the business most...leadership readiness. Because 🚨 it costs more to replace a failed leader than to prepare one. A single misaligned Director or VP can cost up to 3x their salary in lost productivity, turnover, and slowed execution. And yet, many organizations still treat leadership development as a learning initiative. At Xceeding the Mark Executive Coaching, we see it differently. De-risking leadership is a business continuity strategy. When leaders are equipped to decide faster, delegate clearly, and develop others intentionally, the ripple effects show up where it matters most 👇 ✅ Retention improves. ✅ Execution speeds up. ✅ Culture strengthens. In other words 👉 leadership ROI. If your 2026 plan includes doing more with less, start by strengthening the people who make decisions every day. That’s how you protect performance and your bottom line. #leadershipROI #techleadership #successionplanning #executivecoaching #leadershipdevelopment
