A week on and we are still reflecting on what a great evening this was. Bringing together good people for an important cause, hearing more about the work of Muscular Dystrophy UK, and helping raise more than £100,000 made it a night to remember. Well done to everyone involved.

There’s probably only one appropriate reason to post about Arsenal on LinkedIn today. And that’s if you’re heading to the Emirates tonight for a charity football match supporting cancer research. This evening, LCap will be joining CBPE, alongside portfolio companies and advisors from across the wider network, for the CBPE Charity Cup in support of The Institute of Cancer Research. After 22 years, Arsenal are champions again. Regardless of the team you support, there’s something genuinely impressive about the way they’ve gone about it. They stayed patient when things weren’t working, resisted the pressure to constantly change direction, and kept building towards something over time. In the end, that belief in the process paid off. Tonight is obviously about something far more important than football, but it does feel like a fitting evening to be at the Emirates, supporting a cause that matters to many people.
