When disaster strikes whether from an adversarial event, a natural disaster, or even during routine operations, time and situational awareness are critical. What if you could simply deploy a drone, capture a set of images, and build a detailed 3D map of the environment in minutes? With the latest capabilities from Unknot.id, this is becoming a reality. In this example, we generated a fully interactive 3D representation in just 3 minutes using only 6.25% of the available imagery. The result is a navigable environment where you can zoom, explore, and analyze the scene in real time. 👉 Try the interactive scene: https://lnkd.in/e9gJ_U9J Even more powerful, this capability can run entirely on-device on Android (edge) or scale to cloud/server deployments depending on mission needs. While Unknot.id initially focused on precise 3D positioning, we are now expanding toward context-aware situational intelligence, enabling what we call 4D Location Intelligence. This means not just knowing where things are, but also understanding: • What has changed • Where potential threats may exist • What damage has occurred • How safe an area is for responders or operators The goal is simple: turn raw imagery into actionable spatial intelligence in real time. #AI #ComputerVision #DroneTechnology #3DMapping #SpatialComputing #Geospatial #PublicSafety #DefenseTech #SituationalAwareness #EdgeAI

🏔️ 🏬 ⛩️ Digital 3D Reconstruction — Rebuilding Reality with Data ✍ ✍ 🌍 Not every structure can be preserved in time… 🌍 But every structure can be preserved in data. Digital 3D reconstruction is transforming how we document, analyze, and revive the physical world. What once required manual interpretation is now driven by precise data—captured through images, point clouds, and advanced processing workflows.🌍 The journey is both technical and poetic: • Capture → Reality is documented through photogrammetry, LiDAR, or hybrid methods • Reconstruct → Algorithms stitch fragments into structured geometry • Refine → Mesh, textures, and accuracy bring the model to life • Deliver → A digital twin ready for engineering, analysis, or preservation 🌍 From damaged heritage sites to complex urban environments, digital reconstruction allows us to revisit, redesign, and reimagine with confidence. It empowers industries to: – Preserve cultural legacy with millimeter accuracy – Accelerate BIM and infrastructure planning – Enable simulations, inspections, and future-ready decisions In a world where change is constant, digital reconstruction offers permanence. 🌍 🛫 🛫 🛫 🛫 🛫 🛫 🛫 🛫 🛫 🛫 🛫 🛫 🌍 We are no longer just observing reality. We are rebuilding it — intelligently, precisely, and endlessly. #3DReconstruction #DigitalTwin #Photogrammetry #LiDAR #BIM #GIS #Geospatial #RealityCapture #Innovation

Looking for drone + AI partners who can turn raw aerial/thermal imagery into accurate as-built 3D models, digital twins, and extractable floor plans/elevations — especially when original blueprints are missing or outdated. We’re advancing the Urban Nexus Hub: adaptive reuse of a ~100k sq ft office building along the Mesa light-rail corridor into a mixed-use micro-district (grocery anchor with innovative FIFO design + scalable edge data center + Hyliion KARNO microgrid for waste heat capture). Fast, precise reality capture would accelerate feasibility studies, de-risk capex, support energy profiling, and enable efficient system integration planning. If your platform excels at photogrammetry, 3D reconstruction, blueprint overlays, or turning drone data into actionable CRE insights, I’d love to connect. @Optelos @DroneDeploy @SkydioHQ @pix4d @RealityCapture_ — open to demos or discussions on adaptive reuse applications in the Phoenix metro. DM or comment below. Happy to share more on the project. #AdaptiveReuse #DroneTechnology #DigitalTwins #CRE #Photogrammetry #SustainableDevelopment

A simple mobile video → a detailed 3D output. That’s the power of Gaussian Splatting. This capture was done back in September 2025 using just a phone, yet the resulting Gaussian Splat reconstruction delivers impressive spatial clarity and realism. What stands out is how accessible this workflow is — no high-end scanning rigs, just video. Why this matters 👇 • Works exceptionally well with reflective and transparent surfaces — a major limitation in traditional photogrammetry • Enables multiple post-processed outputs from a single capture • Offers full camera control in playback — making it ideal for analysis, visualization, and storytelling • Faster capture workflows compared to conventional methods One of the most practical applications? Insurance. Imagine on-site damage documentation where a simple walkthrough video can be converted into an interactive 3D environment. Claims assessment, validation, and reporting could become far more efficient, transparent, and accurate. Despite this being possible since late 2025, adoption and workflow integration still feel slow. The potential is clearly ahead of the curve — now it’s about how quickly industries catch up. #GaussianSplatting #3DScanning #DigitalTransformation #InsuranceTech #XR #Photogrammetry #Innovation #SpatialComputing

How do we turn a collection of ordinary photos into a detailed 3D model of the real world? The answer lies in Photogrammetry. Photogrammetry is a technique that reconstructs 3D geometry from multiple 2D images taken from different viewpoints. By analyzing how features appear across overlapping photos, algorithms can estimate both the structure of the scene and the camera positions. The idea is simple in principle: Take many photos of an object or environment from different angles. Detect and match key visual features across images. Triangulate those matches to recover the 3D structure. The result can be a highly detailed 3D reconstruction of real environments. Modern photogrammetry pipelines typically involve: • Feature detection and matching • Structure from Motion (camera pose estimation) • Dense reconstruction • Mesh generation and texture mapping What’s fascinating is how widely this technique is used today: • mapping and surveying • cultural heritage preservation • construction and infrastructure inspection • game and film asset creation • robotics and environmental modeling With advances in drone imaging and computational power, photogrammetry has become an incredibly powerful tool for capturing the physical world in digital form. In many ways, it sits at the intersection of computer vision, geometry, and large-scale reconstruction. And it continues to be a key building block for applications like digital twins, robotics perception, and 3D mapping systems. #ComputerVision #Photogrammetry #3DVision #DigitalTwin #Robotics #MachineLearning #AI
