Calgary-based Wagepoint has launched a time-tracking feature and employee mobile app as part of its payroll platform for Canadian small businesses. The Timesheets feature allows employees, contractors and administrators to submit time entries for approval within the Wagepoint platform. Once approved, hours flow directly into payroll processing. The My Wagepoint mobile app gives employees access to payroll functions on their phones, including time entry management, paystub access and profile updates. The app is available on the App Store and Google Play. “We are solving a massive pain point for small businesses and their employees as we are simplifying the payroll process for users on the move,” said Jenna Poste, vice-president of product at Wagepoint.
